Because it is a racial one. I served for 8 years in an Marine Infantry unit and I am a Chinese American marine. You wouldn't believe some of the racist crap my "fellow" marines spewed. Sorry, buddy. But I find your argument dubious. I know the US military is not perfect. No organization is. But I also know from personal experience that racism in the US military is a major issue and that racists and their beliefs are pressed into the dark corners of their minds where it should stay there and rot away. For you to have experienced these and said nothing about it when racism can be easily made news is difficult to believe.

On the surface it doesn't seem wrong. They say whites are proportionally represented, blacks overrepresented, and Asians underrepresented in the military.

However, it does not say whether these whites are HISPANIC OR ANGLO. This is very important, as the entirety of the "whites" could actually be Mexicans, with only a thin Anglo officer class commanding Mexicans and blacks.

Of course the Wall Street military regime will not tell us, as that will shatter the myth of a citizen army composed of volunteers, and instead it will be painfully obvious that the US military is just the mercenary arm of Wall Street.

I did say something and my platoon commander, who as a black marine, filed a complaint through the chain of command and got the CO transferred and eventually dishonorably discharged (from what I heard through scuttlebutt). I also contacted my congressman and started a formal congressional inquiry into the many incidents that occurred. In the end, I received a cell phone call from the XO, 2 weeks before I wad to get out and he apologized to me and assured me this situation would be "dealt with", whatever the hell that meant. I find all of the people making false assumptions about my experiences on here laughable at best. So keep talking trash through your PCs. I went through it and I know what happened.
