Why wasn't Pakistan helping? Or China? Or Zimbabwe, or Iceland? The entire world dropped the ball on Afghanistan.
When the U.S. arrived, the Taliban had already allowed the Afghan infrastructure decay into a crude model of society circa 900 AD, except it was worse. If I understand my history, women were allowed to learn to read, could have a job... there was music, dancing, and laughter. People from 900 AD would look with pity upon Afghanistan in 2001.

You know more than 3 millions Afghans fled their country after the Soviet invasion of 1979, civil war, and war on terror and they were housed in Pakistan.

I am not pointing fingers at you or anyone else. I am just saying that don't pretend that you are in Afghanistan and Iraq to help the local peoples. We all know why you went there. Talibans were the rules of Afghanistan before 9/11 but you did not care to interfere and did not bothered to help the Afghans. We all know US went in Afganistan to take the revenge of 9/11 from those who according to you hide and support the osama bin laden and in this process of revenge you killed thousands innocent civilians. We all know you are friend of USA as long as you protect their interets. We all know USA even protect dictators if they protect its interest. You guys don't see that how much Pakistan suffered because of your this so called war on terror fought for revenge and because of your interference in our politics. From what I have experienced , most Chinese Americans sympathize with Taiwan. They are proud of their ancient culture but very critical of the Chinese government. Even the flags seen in China town are usually of Republic of China's.

Actually you are wrong.

Most Chinese American in the US are from Taiwan. That is why they have that flag. Main land Chinese only started coming in the 1980's, but now most main land Chinese are neither stop coming or just going back to China. Because there are far more oppertunities in CHINA now days.
