its obvious the carrier has no military significance. its actual value is in its prestige as a symbol of a rising nation. this has immense propaganda potential.

Testing of the AC and training of airwing onboard of AC is basically 2 different type of activites, this launching signified that this AC has just only completed all its handling tests and only now it is ready (fit) for handling over to PLAN.

From this point onwards, the PLAN will officially take over the AC and do their testing of their J15 and other air vehicles on board of this AC. And at the same time, also the coordination training with the rest of ithe fleet.

BTW, that's my 2 cents assumptions. LOLOL...

When China show the landing and take off of J-15. They will say China can only operate 1-2 J-15 plane and is useless..

Then when the deck start to pack with J-15, Z-8 helo, they will say those can only fly and do nothing..

Suddenly, it show J-15 take off loaded with ammunition like PL-12 and KD-88 and LS-6 guided bomb, starting hitting target dummy ship and bombing shore target. They will say China is the greatest PS country making those fake footage..

We already score the first win aginst those moron who say Liaoning CV-16 has not hook arrestor install and need to beg Russia like India for their 7 out of 8 spoiled boiler carrier...

This is the problem China faces- sure they build quantity but was is the quality of their hardware. Even the US incorporates technology buys from other countries. China does not have access to buy any of it... exterior looks hot but when and if Chinese show us the heart of it ( they almost never do)- it does not muster up to top notch. This may hurt your feelings but it's common sense.

the only way out is what china does by espionage i.e. stealing others technology. and we see this often in what they produce.

Sure! your carrier shall be top notch with only one boiler running out of 8. Its a foreign product and shall be good!
