What's new

Chief of Air Staff, PAF, visited Turkey , spent 4 days - DGPR PAF

That is all well and good, sir.

Just very interesting to see these new alliances form, and also how just "the west" and Russia seem to have this aircraft engine tech, and how they're not willing to let it go.. Even mighty China is struggling and lacking there.. and in the semiconductor space..
This has been the case since a long time. We have a saying in Urdu" yeh to Farghana ka ghora ho gaya". At one time Farghana in central asia had the most prized horses and they would not let any other country have them. They would therefore get invaded for their horses.
The British came to India to trade and took us over because they realized the State of Hindustan had immense wealth and its leadership corrupt to the core. They took Silk, tea and silver from China and plied them with opium. So this has always gone on in the world. Technology is power and power demands that you protect it.

New defence cooperation projects between Turkey's ASFAT and Pakistan Air Force also discussed during Air Chief's visit.
Pakistan Navy earlier signed a contract with MSB_ASFAT to acquire four MILGEM-class ships.

No one will know what's being discussed and agreed like of those Milgem contract announced.

You have to acknowledge that unlike those around us, PAF never does any chest thumping and keeps it's cards very close to chest.
So wait a minute! Have they gone on and bought 4 more Milgem ships? Please confirm.

Turkey knows it has no future in NATO. Pakistan has brilliant minds working on virus genetics and space tech. You will have to research to find out more.
Turkey is not leaving NATO..please ..why do you make such conclusions..
There are more chances of NATO being disbanded in future than Turkey leaving NATO..

Never correct your enemy especially when one is making the most grave mistake. What you said is, infact, the recipe for success of PAF and unfortunately, the neighbor is all that for bollywood now given the continuous boasting, imaginary destruction of Pakistan based upon injected hate while a bubble is created with false sense of superiority.

How else would they come up with a glorious surprise for those chest thumpers around us !

This Forum said that chief of Air Staff, PAF has visited Turkey , spent 4 days with Turkish defence authority . Four days are enough to discuss and deal his professional items in his field . Turkey has good relations with Pak and good reputation in UAV, Copters, Jet fighters and several other defence products. Pakistan and China has an old policy to keep all defence contract hidden. But in coming days the products of four days will appear in media soon.

They have in ways but just not documented that much. However if it is in comparison, nothing beats chest thumping like the neighbours to the East.

There is more than what meets the eye. Strategic alliances and partnerships and regional cooperation is in the air. Trans-regional military alliances is blossoming as the New world order becomes newer.
Yeah we have historic links with Central Asia. We have turkmen, Moğul(mughal) etc blood still running in North Punjab(Potohar plateau) one friend is a Pakistani Turkmen descendant, lives not too far in the suburbs.
Pakistani and Turkish air force has same uniform?
Missing the suit and tie. But we have the same shoulder taps design. İ like it better than those confusing bars British had/left us with.
More TuAF participation in PAF exercises.
İt already is to a great extent. İf İ remember correctly even JF17 was in recent Anatolian Eagle, no?
