New defence cooperation projects between Turkey's ASFAT and Pakistan Air Force also discussed during Air Chief's visit.
Pakistan Navy earlier signed a contract with MSB_ASFAT to acquire four MILGEM-class ships.

Indeed. My understanding is that Azri oil did reach Pakistani shores when Arab under the influence of yanks were making their tantrums. There is an Azri-Georgian-Turkish (Baku-Tiflis-Ceyhan) pipeline. From there on, can be easily transferred to Pakistan.

There was a talk of JF17 deal being paid with Azri oil. Wont be surprised at all, if Pakistan is securing alternate and reliable source of energy in this rapidly changing geopolitics. In any case, it was foolish policy to leave all eggs in GCC basket anyway. JF17s can play a massive part in securing Azerbaijan, and with it, Pakistani source of energy.

Great Idea and sounds fantastic. Inshallah

NATO ally's that refused Patriot systems initially and when Turkey took steps to safegaurd themselves, kick them out from F-35 program?

The only umbrella is of Turkey itself and it will cooperate with friendly countries to further their interests.
The US establishment didn't take kindly to NATO ally Turkey flirting with Putin ? (and probably had a few points of disagreement about regional issues, Syria ofc)

False ego aside, they're still best off with NATO wrt training, equipment and other defence stuff. US blocked those helo engines and put other kurbs on the ATAK thing, didn't they ?

but Trump's gone, so.. I expect Biden to pick a fight with Russia, because these guys are insane.. be interesting to see what happens.

Ok and what we can offer ?
Brotherly love and gajjak of course.😄😃😇.
But on a serious note we have the capacity of cheaper production of various parts. The collaboratio may be at different levels and the profit maybe shared in accordance woth work share but the possibilities are endless. You have to accept that in a few spheres we are slightly ahead of them. Collaboration could be offered but would be kept under wraps due to hue and crying from various circles. So it does not have to be a one way street. The fact their minister is here signifies we have something we can offer.

They're already under the NATO nuclear umbrella. What virus research and space tech but ?
No. They are here to offer us alms and we are sitting like beggers going "day ja baba Allah kay Naam". Seriously what is wrong with you guys?
Just know there is on going collaboration and we have a multifaceted relationship developing. We have a huge manpower base and Turkish labour is expensive. So a lot of small parts manufacturing could move downstream as it is a win/win situation for both countries. In many ways we are more natural allies than Pak China for various reasons. So you will see a lot of these programmes come to fruition in the coming decade.

Read up a bit more. Look up aTurkish efforts to join EU and problems faced with NATO in spite of being a staunch ally of the US. The situation has been forced up Turkey and Turkey's efforts to liberate itself from those shackles has resulted in a lot of hardships including an attempted coup against Erdogan. AND IAM NOT TALKING ABOUT T129. The T129 is a genuine effort to guard its turf. So I dont blame the US for that. They have/previously screwed Canada so Turkey is fairly low down tue pecking order

We Can't completely depend on China for everything. We can't put all our eggs in the same basket. We need to venture out and find new defense partners to bring technology to Pakistan.

That is all well and good, sir.

Just very interesting to see these new alliances form, and also how just "the west" and Russia seem to have this aircraft engine tech, and how they're not willing to let it go.. Even mighty China is struggling and lacking there.. and in the semiconductor space..

There is no transference of knowledge both ways and with production also the flow is one way. The flow will be two way between Turkey and Pakistan. So it is a much more mutuly beneficial situation for both cointries.

Hi,

The most valuable information---actual combat experience and flight training---fighter aircraft development / manufacturing / assembly / weapons & operational integration / sales and after sales servicing / training---are some of the things.

Hi,

Engine tech was only given freely one time---By Churchill to the russians---.

The reason it is not given freely---?

There is an old british adage---given them guns---and you give them an uprising---give them cannons and you are giving them a nation---.

Same with a fighter aircraft engine---.

The reason china is struggling---because it engine program development got sabotaged by the west---.

The west knew that the chinese are after the technology---and will get it one way or the other---. So---they planned a sabotage---that would really put the engine program in a big disrupt---.

The information that was stolen or sold to them---was extremely legitimate information---the contents were as legitimate as they could be but the impurity level measured in microns was sabotaged---.

So---basically a successful engine suddenly has blades fracturing at or around 200 hours mark--- to develop and operate a new engine for 200 hours takes time---. The error was not caught in time---same mistake was made again---. That again put the program back by years---.

What recently came out was that a micron level imuprity in a single crystral blade turning at thousand of rpm's makes that micron level impurity crawl from its molecular position---thus creating micro fractures ultimately resulting in blade failure---.

A good video on the subject matter is available by "millenium 7 " on youtibe.
