He is a huge figure but some people in Pakistani Bureaucracy and political Establishment in 50s and 60s buried him and his work. He was appointed the Director of the Department of Islamic Reconstruction by the Qaid-e-Azam and was tasked with making a draft of an Islamic Constitution For Pakistan but After Quaids Death Elements in Pakistani Political Elite sidelined him and his work was destroyed in a fire. Disappointed with all the **** up that followed he left Pakistan he came back under Zia and was offered to work once again On Islamic revisions to Constitution but knowing that Zia was only doing it for his political benefit he declined.

Pakistani Elite doesnt likes this Because he represents something (The First Pakistani Citizen connected to Pakistan not by his birth right but Solely by his religion and the Idea of Pakistan) that goes against their Dream of a Secular Pakistan and no where in our Mainstream history books and educational books you will find his name.
