That's a hypothetical scenario but as a muslim i am totally against any sort of injustice happening any where in the world. And u need to talk in reality not hypothetical scenarios. Reality is that muslims r being targeted NOT follower other religions and that's because Islam is way of life antithetical to western secular liberal way of life. All other cultures and religion succumbed to western liberalism but muslims didn't. Islam being the only true religion and way of life is a threat to western aspiration to have global hegemony. U see post-colonial west suffer from a superiority complex and really gets violent when someone tells them that they r NOT right and that there's a far better alternative than the western way of life .
nice to know you are against injustice everywhere. So lets see the common trend and who fights who.
1. In every country in this world, majority community is priviledged(simply because they are majority), unless a dictator from minority community is running the country.
2. Majority community everywhere think minority people are being given special priviledge.
3. When the same people are in minority elsewhere, they will complain against majority.
Now, the minority could be based on religion, ethnicity, language. The problem remains same.
The only people who fight against it and try to safeguard interests of minority are the people you despise. in UK its the humanists(or similar groups) who fight against majoritarianism of anglicans. In case of religion, they tend to be secular people but they dont need to be.
Only secular people question why bishops are sitting in parliament, not christian or muslim religious groups
Instead of making common cause and supporting secularism, you are targetting the very people who are fighting for you. Same in India, its only seculars who will raise voice for muslims. Whether they can influence majority is different issue, but at least its a force we should support.
Now you behave like any other person who believes in majoritarianism.
Note: One should differentiate between atheism(lack of belief in god) and secularism(believe in religious equality, separation of religion from govt affairs)
