I do not understand ,why as a nation we don't learn from the mistakes. Its third time now that terrorist infiltrated military airbase besides GHQ. Airbase should be equipped with modern sensor based security system, NATSP can coordinate with Turkish counterpart ASELSAN to customize their border security system as airport security system. Israeli concept of remote sentry towers equipped with sensor base remote control guns can provides round the clock security. Scouting with armored cars like Turkish AKREP 2 or concept of UGV and fixed STAMP machine guns nests can further provide unmatched security measures. PAF should consider airbase as aircraft carrier with same sensors and weapons suit as counter measures against any type of attack.
