Breaking: Google pulls Huawei’s Android license, forcing it to use open source version

Pakistan should also start moving away from Apple, Microsoft, and Google, who are cooperating with the CIA spy programs against us.

YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp refuse to remove terrorist accounts and groups from their platforms which are targeting Pakistan daily.

They also hire on Israeli and Indian firms to run their websites, at the disadvantage to pro-Pakistani and pro-Kashmiri content.

We should make a closed ecosystem to promote our own alternatives to these biased organization.

Pakistan should follow the Chinese system, and jump all in with Huawei also. 200 million customers should loyally support their nation. Learn from the Chinese.

We should also establish Muslim friendly websites which removes vulgarity and blasphemous content.

This should be propagated all over the Muslim world as an alternative.

Here is another Muslim ummah Hallucinator.

The Chinese have started ramping up their buying California Real estate again. Only anecdotal evidence!!!

With the National Intelligence Law, China took the lead since '17.

So tell us, if the Chinese government orders you to spy on your foreign employer, would you do it?

No offence. But what has US govt has done wrt to NSA using data from Google, Facebook other than some public questionings of CEO's? Didnt Patriot Law(might be wrong on the name) didnt give the power for a full scale surveillance though its hard to prosecute any US citizen using unauthorized data.

Nnnnnoooo...

In post 22, I gave the DIRECT link to the Chinese goobermint. I guess it was too difficult for the Chinese members here.
I don't see a link to the CHINESE GOOBERMINT MY DEAR INDIAN BHAI.

So copy the phrase out and explain it to us, the phrase in Chinese. I dare you my dear Indian bhai, which clause made you worry. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I do not deny that in times of emergencies or worse perceive 'crisis' government can and have overreacted. My opinion about the US Patriot Act is known on this forum: Not like. We expired the Act in '15.

But data collection by US is really nothing compares to what China want from every Chinese. The National Intelligence Law is vastly more expansive in terms of what the Chinese government can do -- LEGALLY. It is not as if the Chinese government cannot do those things in the past. But now, what the Chinese government want to do is enshrined in law for everyone to see.

Well but NSA can still spy foreign nationals (and Presidents, friendly ones) with the data collected by American companies. Not sure if there is any law authorizing that. But US is doing that cos they can do that. Spying is all fine but using US companies to do that? Can we be sure it has been stopped now? A reason why many countries including Brazil. India is now asking companies to save citizen's data locally.

That China is an surveillance state doesnt need any mentioning. These chinese bots here cannot speak a word against Chinese government or else agents will be swooping down their homes. So you (us) need to take mercy on them. Poor souls though.

. . .
So, it should be noted that Google probably didn't want to do this, but had to comply with the US government blacklisting Huawei.

Google probably didn't want to do this, as Huawei is huge in China, and growing rapidly in the rest of the world. Having Huawei use android software would have net Google billions of dollars, so this probably hurt Google's long term profits

DUMP US TREASURIES NOW!:-)
Never gonna happen.

Does it matter on his obligation to the state?

THE STATE: "Yo...Zhengy...We need all the records of cell phone sold in 2019, their serial numbers, and their shipping addresses. And we need them EOB."

ZHENGY: "Yes...Massah...Massah..."

You

. . .
There is no 'maybe' about this. Do you deny the existence of the National Intelligence Law? Simple question, no?

If the Chinese government asks Huawei for the quantity of cell phones shipped and where to, Huawei cannot refuse. How is it unreasonable to suspect the Chinese government have its hooks into business? The law erased the line between politics and business and YOU admonished US about that line?
It is a MAYBE because it has never happen yet for Huawei.

What the world now know is that US corp. like Google, Qualcomm etc. has abide by US gov't request against their own business interest, comply to stop supplying their product to Huawei.

That is NOT A MAYBE, that has ALREADY HAPPENED.

Any country that buy US product would now knows that they are under the whim of Washington for continuous supply.

The US can, without informing you of what you done wrong, or give you time to defend yourself, or time to take corrective action, just sucker punch you with a complete stop of supply.

I think any country that depend too much on any US product, should immediately consider the continuous supply of US product to be a SECURITY THREAT.

Especially for country that export steel or aluminium or motor vehicle or other items that the current white house is not happy about, should immediately take remedy action to reduce their dependency.

Because that THREAT is real, as what happen to Huawei has shown.
