There are tons of barbaric laws in the US that can be pointed out before someone points out "public execution" as "barbaric". Example: Some Southern US states have laws where girls can marry at 16 & before with parents consent and many older white folks use it to marry really young girls...

Chemical castration is reversible and just hormonal therapy..Results are showing the the culprits(often part of bigger gangs) come back for revenge on authority personnel upon chemical castration... I personally think hanging is the best thing for all those involved in it, however public execution for a kingpin is necessary, not for all.

If you may spend some time here, you may know the effects on ground of the said capital punishment.
One thinks hundreds and thousands of times before comitting major crime the last of which is Killing someone.
If this is not in place, you will see Saudi's dying at the hand of Ajnabi's and getting extint.

Point to note is, one cannot absolutely eradicate the crime in this case is Killing. But it can be reduced to minimum possible.
When you say the cime rate is increaing, you are basically ignoring the factors such as drugs, in state of which they are out of senses and commit such things.

I do not agree with public hangings. Human rights associations around the world will make an issue out of it and it will only bring bad repute for Pakistan.

Indonesia puts drug smuglers in front of firing squad (including a french guy in 2019), maybe human right groups have protested but it didn't bring down their reputations by that much i think, i doubt most people even know

Fully agree with this. Law and order must be imposed and severe punishments are a part of this.

Of course in reality it will change nothing. If a paedophile without influence is caught, he will hang. If a paedophile with influence is caught he will walk free.
