Besides Kashmir, What else are the reason of animosity between India and Pakistan?

Hypothetically if for some strange reason, "India let go kashmir" as a compromise and continue its Akhand Bharat dream, still no chance of peace.
If that happens, it will be a self contradictory situation. Though I have seen Politician doing that too. Trump is the latest example.

If you don’t mind, May I ask why not? :o:

Thank you for asking a relevant instead of wanting to lynch me.

This is not a general statement towards all within Azaad Kashmir however some do refer to themselves as Kashmiris instead of ‘Pakistanis’, despite living under the Umberella of Pakistan. They’re free to move up and down the Country, a privilege not given to Indian occupied Kashmir, they have the freedom of expression, rights - yet complain heavily about the lack of infrastructure and how they’re treated ‘differently’. Don’t get me wrong but this infrastructure issue isn’t just categorised to them, it’s all across Pakistan, so I don’t understand why they feel the need to feel ‘targeted’. Look at some parts of Baluchistan, Punjab and Sindh -infrastructure wise its appalling and far behind.

Would a Balochi, Punjabi, Pathan, Sindhi refer to themselves as their ethnic backgrounds first or their nationality? Yes amongst themselves and internally it’s different but to the outside world, would you? No. In Bradford there’s a census carried by Azaad Kashmiri residents and it specifically states ‘Kashmiri or Pakistani’ not ‘Kashmiri Pakistani’ - a differentiation. A separation.

I respect their freedom of movement, their right to want and earn a referendum however I do not respect the fact that those who share the same privileges as any common Pakistani - differentiate themselves and not class themselves as one - inspite of advancing privileges.

Majority of the people raising voices for Kashmir aren’t even Kashmir ethnic, whilst they’re too busy living their lives in England or wherever and enjoying their freedom in Azaad Kashmir. To then around and say what has Pakistan done, is insulting.

Therefore it’s not something I feel strong about, I’m not making a stance or raising a voice for those who can’t be bothered themselves or don’t respect the Sovereignty they reside in.

Thats interesting but please post on the topic of the thread!
Your post betrays your regard for what i said as a victim's rant. But trust me i am the most aloof and uppity character in the world. The misfortunes of not a single person in the world affects me in the slightest. I have unusual abilities that will seem nothing less than supernatural to the people of the world. I can single handedly end life on this planet. But i wont do it out of concern for any one particular people. If i related with anyone i wouldve been an ordinary person and not had these powers.

Do you live on East Hasting Street in Vancouver by any chance?

On topic, Other then Kashmir, biggest reason for both sides to keep animosity is Politicians and both sides Hindu and Muslim extremists. especially types of RSS who just are against Muslims, they will never let Indians be friend with Pakistan and they are on top level Govt.

a privilege not given to Indian occupied Kashmir
You are not right! Indian Kashmiri can move anywhere in the country. Its actually the otherway round. Not anyone can come and live in Indian Kashmir from elsewhere in India.

Ours do that too.

Ours also want that too.

I feel the same.

Oh well the thread is not about Kashmiris. It is about India and Pakistan exclusively. In a hypothetical situation when immediate matter for fighting has gone.

Ah OK, I think I understand your viewpoint - you feel they are ungrateful for everything Pakistan has done for them and it seems all a one way effort - with Pakistanis giving and Kashmiris only taking?

You know what, Indians feel the same way about Kashmiris. They have been receiving much more share of our tax money for development than other states. There is practically no poverty in Kashmir though they produce next to nothing. Tourism, carpets, saffron a few call centers - that’s it. It is tax money from Mumbai and Delhi that goes to build their roads and schools while they sit back and complain. They are allowed to travel anywhere in India but Indians are not allowed to buy land in Kashmir - you can google this is you like. They get more than their fair share of educational scholarships.

So yes,it’s interesting to see the Pakistani view on Kashmiris as a people ( not the Kashmir problem) is similar to Indian point of view. Many Indians also see them as ungrateful, arrogant and unpatriotic.

In Kashmiri peoples defence I would say that neither India nor Pakistan actually cares much about them as an ethnic group and are using their grieviences to score points against each other. So no surprise they are a little fed up with both of us. I would be too if I was Kashmiri.

You’re done with us guys - yet you run your economy into the ground feeding a war against us. Your entire media is filled with “ India this” “ India that”
You destroy your country just to get at us.
You decide your external alliances based on their posture towards India.
You Are the biggest external market for our cultural products
Your actors, musicians and patients line up for visas.
You open “Indian” restaurants abroad

The same could be said about India x's 10. Your the one's with 800,000 soldiers stationed in Kashmir. If it wasn't for us Punjabi's half of the actors in Bollywood wouldn't exist. Restaurants are a business, profit is more important than the name. Not our fault western idiots are too stupid to realize Pakistanis created all of the meat dishes that come from South Asia.

Well Indians cry a lot on media and they are generally effing ugly with a couple of decent looking women who are clearly a genetic misfit

Lol. They cry in the media, they cry themselves to sleep, and they're probably crying even as they type.

India is obsessed with Pakistan. Who cries every time Pakistan makes a military deal, who cries about isolating Pakistan, who cries every time they even here the word Pakistan.

Pakistan doesn't care about you trolls. We're too busy with CPEC. But guess whose busy trying their best to sabotage CPEC.

If Kashmir is resolved

They will ask for Delhi and Agra.

This fight is not really about Kashmir , it is about some medieval sense of entitlement over South Asia and its about “ toys for the boys”
what the hell, Pakistan really doesn't want Delhi or Agra. T

aj mahal means nothing to us, your hindu extremists will do what they did to babri masjid to taj mahal as well eventually.

.
Indian occupation of India is illegal
Frankly, there is no other issue between Pakistan and India other than Kashmir. If that problem was resolved this whole false Hindu/Muslim thing going on would die it's natural death.
Hindu/Muslim thing is not false. The existence of Pakistan is proof of this, and so does the existence of Kashmir dispute. The dispute is not based on ethnicity.

Never going to happen Divergent. Nothing about Kashmiris and I appreciate your desire for peace.....
But

Kashmir is too small a country to be economically viable. They will come under the “ influence “ of Pak or China within minutes of being granted independence.

India cannot have an enemy nation de facto running Kashmir . It exposes the entire gangetic plain to very easy invasion. This is a historic underbelly of India. No Indian government would ever allow that.

Nice talking to you.
