Battle of ALCMs : BrahMos A vs Pakistan’s Ra’ad

also i hear alot of the time that india has a lot of patents with its tech and pakistan doesn't so does that mean india is technically superior than pakistan? no

I would like to see another measure of R&D output than number of patents filed/published scientific literature.

PS: Don't say R&D expenditure- World Bank has neatly compiled the R&D expenditure as a percentage of GDP. The R&D expenditure of Pakistan is a mere $700 million.

There is no doubt that chinese univs file a lot of patents these days however they are no match in front of chinese multinational giants like ZTE,huawei that file more than 3000 patents annually! Hence it is the chinese MNCs that drives the patent filling spree! As for your nationality- I will say only one thing- "One must learn to be honest first"!

zte and huawei are comercail brands finding chinese patents on millitary applications is quiet hard.
as for your doubts on my nationality i dont care as your not the first to doubt it, im use to it.

lolz Brahmos has many variants....Navy uses anti-ship ones, Army uses land attack ones while Airforce to use both variants.
Seriously?
Air force uses which variants?
They just had first ever flight with the missile and have to fire it yet.
You Indians are either gullible or propagate false propaganda deliberately.
Everyday I come across Indians on internet damn sure of Indian star wars tech and boasting about things India haven't Even got yet.

Brahamos got speed but isn't stealth. Whereas Raad is terrain is Hugging and stealth.

Terrain hugging missiles can be detected & brought down by using Aerostats/AEW&C systems. It's not exactly stealth.

Not at all, Indian anti ballistic missile system is very far from being operation. It is in R&D phase.

He meant Cruise missile defense with Barak-8. Anyway, with the successfull tests of PDV & AAD, BMD is not far away

Air force uses which variants?
They just had first ever flight with the missile and have to fire it yet.

IAF have indicted the land based Brahmos & it's not a long way towards Brahmos ALCM.

I gave you an example, just to show you that their MNCs are filing a lot of patents. Now coming back to defense research.Kindly go to IEEE site and look for research papers on ECM,ECCM,AESA radars etc and I am sure you'll run into a lot of chinese research papers. It is unwise to think they dont reveal their research. They are gradually opening up,although they dont reveal much in various cases wherein the origin of the technology is dubious.Once again,"One must learn to be honest FIRST"!

Comprehension problem or blind? I clearly said 'airforce to use both variants"....Now go back and read again.

Gosh, are you trying to be funny ? That infograph is about Indian LRCM, which is an independent effort to develop a liquid fuel ramjet engine propelled CM, with our own technology.

LFRJ & DFRJ technology is being actively pursued by DRDO & ISRO. Did you thought we will ditch all R&D on that front because of the Russian JV?

Non sense. The Yakhont was an anti ship missile. Not Brahmos.
No I stated that even wh so called poster you have shown which is nowhere to be seen in reality. I have only seen the jv brahmos

ok now theres a problem. when i mean patents i mean patents in military reasearch. sure you find some papers that do contain some millitary use but other than that no not really. you dont have to graduate to open up i find they are more enthuiastic which is where you will find them "opening up"

How would you know it's not being pursued? Do you have any inside sources in DRDO ?

Heck dude, you wouldn't have known about Indian LFRJ/DFRJ technology development efforts until actual test firing- if it wasn't for me.bStop bluffing.

Yes when it see the light if the day then talk. Until then for me considering the previous pathetic attempt by DRDO and its record, its b.s. for me no offence though

Yep, considering previous record of DRDO- successful programs including Agni V, K-4 SLBM, BMD & Astra- I'm sure it'll be a success. BTW, how many other countries have 2 independent scramjet programs ?

And we start talking about weapon systems long before they come into existence- that's because complex weapon systems will take several years to develop & mature. We are also drawing on our previous experience -we don't usually receive pre-tested systems/ matured technology from elsewhere.
