The permanent solution is the reforming our school system. Govermental schools should teach children about Islam from become Hafiz, Qari, scientist, business man, teacher or politician...everything should be taught in government schools...Imams should appointed through government's approval and a unified body should govern it. No separate madrassah run by sectarian-Mullah's be allowed.

This is the case in most Pakistani schools but when you move beyond those schools to Madrassas the story changes. The misuse of these madrassas is creating the problem in teaching Islam. No one wants restriction on religious institutions in Pakistan but this misuse is going beyond control and they must be countered for the protection of Islam's Image. How can you spread Islam when there is so much defame being done just to stop it.

Population as per latest census which was held in 2017. But there can be few other factors as well as not all constituencies have same population, it will also depend on district population.

It don't make any sense. I am from tehsil kahuta and Kahuta tehsil should have at least one constituency instead of three or four tehsil making only one seat for national assembly..

There are many misconceptions about Deobandis among Non-Deobandis. I blame Musharraf and US propaganda for a lot of it.

Just visit their madrassas and masjids and you will see they are normal people like anyone else.

The people doing evil are not in the public eye, but hidden, and mostly funded but India and West. Kidnapping gangs, ransomers, refugees, and people with foreign contacts to questionable individuals are the people we should be after.

Some of the extreme views coming from other groups (Shias, Barelvi) should also be stopped.

Also although I disagree with Wahhabi/Salafis, many of them are decent good people without hate towards other Muslims. Some of the Saudi, UAE scholars are great.

Salafists reject all mazhabs. They have their own scholars which tend to be more extreme than most Muslims. Also many of them make takfir on other Muslims. Salafists enjoy support in many Arab nations, but are weak in Pakistan.

Deobandis are Sunni Hanafi Muslims (many believe Sufism as well.) They are orthodox Muslims similar to many Muslims in other countries. A lot of their political thought is also similar to the shias of Iran. As far as I know, most of them support PTI because they also tend to be religious nationalists and fierce supporters of Kashmir, Palestine, etc.

Imran Khan is a religious nationalist strivinthg for social justice and appeals to people of all ethnicities, languages, religions in Pakistan.

Daesh are not Salafists. Their 'Khalifah' is god for them. They don't believe whatsoever in Quran and Hadith. They are a modern incarnation of Khawarij. Everyone who makes small sins becomes wajib ul qatil for them. They have not gotten recognition by any many Salafi scholars that I know of. Not to mention they are foreign funded by Israel and West.

Yes, some Salafists like HT are dangerous, but most are not. For many, salafism is a temporary and transient phase in their lives.

Even then they are in minority in Pakistan Subcontinents are Muslim due to Sufis so sulfiism will remain alien in sub continent even with heavy investments by Arabs and Zia regime
