Any muslim worthy of the name will try to clarify his understanding of islamic concepts

So a teacher now has no control over what his student will learn about Jihad

Then the sites dedicated to jihad in the internet need to be made unavailable in BD. One or two very peaceful version of jihad can be promoted. BD is a relative peaceful society. There isn't much Jihadi activity going on. The small amount that is going on has some influence from Madrasas. Blocking it in the Madrasas can turn out to be a good initiative. Not many want to learn about jihad unless they are taught about it and they have to study that for exams. This is a good timely measure.

Quran and Hadith are not part of school curriculum. Parts of these are discussed in our religious study(Islam) and Jihad isn't or shouldn't be included in it. Usually parents try to make sure that children can read Quran and hires a moulovi for that. Yes I went through that too. But they mostly try to teach children how do do namaaz and how to read Quran. I don't think they talk about Jihad either.

I agree. No one disagrees with following the tenets of one's own religion and practicing one's religion and salvation in private.

Look man. Madrassa and school do share curriculum commonalty but, Quran, Hadith and Fikah is madrassa only subjects.
