No one can object to the message of these kids, it is true and long overdue - but what is the point of breaking infrastructure, shutting down businesses, spreading chaos ... civil war?

We are playing into the hands of our enemies, who are watching gleefully from the sides.

If many people get their wish, BD will go back to square one - to start afresh with new 'pure' leaders and technocrats like in 71 - then we can wait 50 years just to come back to this same stage.

Sometimes I think BDeshis are our own worst enemies. If back to basics is what the people want, who can stop them?

Hallelujah, finally a sane BD'shi poster!
True democracy and fast economic development cannot go hand in hand.

Some people will not like this but a few dead kids is a price that may need to be paid for the long term future of BD as a rich and sovereign country.

BCL, government wing student group, attacking and raping students from peaceful protest. Government supports that! Doesn't care about the murder and the rapes, doesn't want any justice to those victims. Govt isn't going to punish the attackers that took 4 girls, raped then and then murdered them. THIS GOVERNMENT CAN GO F*CK THEMSELVES. I want a civil war if that's what is needed. I want student from ever getting affiliated with government doing their bidding. Give death penalty to every single BCL attackers. I don't care if to achieve that, BD has setback on economy for a few years.

You don't need dead kids for that. Government has nothing to gain by going against the kids demand yet they do. They are literal thugs attacking on kids in peaceful protest.

Dude, as I said before, my young cousin witnessed murder. He doesn't need to fu*king see those just to advance the economy a little. Instead of going off on the kids, tell the government to punish every single attackers and meet those kids demands and disband BCL. Students don't get to be a wing of government thug.

I also think, now times has come to tone down this protest.7 days are enough. The govt. is shaken sufficiently.Neither the AL nor BNP will forget this week.Hope this will be the beginning to build a good and efficient public transport system across Bangladesh. Now govt. will be forced to take the public transport sector will real seriousness. If we get good public transport system in the next few years, then the sacrifice of those 2 students and this massive protest will become really fruitful.

You are being emotional here.

No-one is defending the thuggery here and any killings. They should not have happened but I guess that BD police force is not capable of dealing with the chaos like a rich country like say Germany in a peaceful way.

BD society is just too polarised and underdeveloped at this stage for there to be any other way to be honest.

If AL falls, make no mistake that BD will go into chaos and there will be many more deaths of innocents and the economy, infrastructure and military developments will stall for many years if not decades.
