As a part of modernization plan the government of Bangladesh established an airbase in Cox's bazar and planned to equip it with Chinese F-7BG multirole fighter aircraft based on soviet mig-21.As China stopped making F-7 aircraft,Bangladesh decided to procure FC-1 fighter aircraft.Total 16 units will be ordered costing each 15 million us dollar equipped with sd-10 BVR missile.Bangladesh also procuring 28 Type-96 tanks from china each costing $4M.The navy is getting two F-22B frigate with three Z-9c ASW helicopter in late 2012 though frigate process is unclear.

Now that's good beginning.. Bangladesh has some 60+ F-7 that would also ask a replacement in few years time. So expect roughly 80-100 JF-17's in Bangladesh colours in next few years

Doesn't matter which side of paper you read, you are still reading the same paper. But safe guess is it would be China as our production lines are full and going to stay busy unless Pakistan's own requirements are met.

I am not sure about the source...... the article says frigate process is unclear. But nothing about FC-1. so maybe the writer is confirmed about FC-1 procurement!

Who told you China is delivering FC-1 to Bangladesh in next 2 months? Pakistan will Inshallah receive 50 JFTs on priority as intended.

Aircraft deliveries can take years. Even Pakistan has would have waited roughly 6 years before it would receive FC-20.
