First, you are so naive to think that way and, then you people complain why there is so much ethnic hatred in the land of the pure.

Where is the question of ethnicity here? So by your post does it imply that MQM can do anything it wants, all criminal activity but we cant touch it because its a mohajir issue?

MQM is not a national party. It does mohajir politics and its a Karachi party. It has proved that time and again. When you are doing politics of sect or language, you are by default spreading hatred.

Not all but those Urdu speakers who feverishly associate themselves with MQM play ethnicity card just like the African Americans in USA play race card. In the process, Blacks have become more racist than the whites were; similarly, MQMers are more ethnically biased than the remaining ethnicities of Pakistan. The only solution to this problem is to provide Urdu speakers with alternatives. At this point of time they have nothing but MQM. And entire generation has groomed since its inception, a generation that has not seen anything but MQM and heard no leader but Altaf.

RELATIVES OF MR ALTAF HUSSAIN, FOUNDER AND LEADER OF MQM, ARRESTED BY THE CIA (CRIME INVESTIGATION AGENCY)
Today at around 2.15 a.m. (Pakistan Time), the personnel of the CIA (Crime Investigation Agency) in mobile number SP-4939, raided the house (R-14, Block-19, Federal B. Area, Karachi) of Rizwan Qureshi (28) and Saeed Qureshi (25), sons of Abdul Sattar Qureshi and arrested them unlawfully, without any warrants. The raiding party forced their entry into the house by breaking the front door. During the raid they misbehaved with the family members and threatened them of dire consequences.

Mr. Rizwan Qureshi and Mr. Saeed Qureshi are non-political and first cousins of Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of the MQM. Their arrest are reminiscent to the arrests of Mr. Nasir Hussain (66) and Mr. Arif Hussain (28), non political brother and nephew of Mr. Altaf Hussain, who were arrested on 5 December 1995 by the law enforcers including the CIA. Mr. Nasir Hussain and Mr. Arif Hussain were brutally tortured in custody of the State and extra-judicially executed on 9 December 1995, after three days of torture.

It is pertinent to mention that only a few days ago on 27 January 1999, Mr Nazim Hussain (72), elder brother of Mr Altaf Hussain expired and the entire family was in mourning. Today, the family members of Mr. Altaf Hussain are faced with yet another trauma of the arrest of Rizwan Qureshi and Saeed Qureshi.

Worthless failure? Then why Mqm put their eradication from Karachi as a bargaining point to get a part of government, Musharraf was their lucky chance that has changed many dynamics into MQM's favor, not just that but first time establishment started to trust MQM after long time in that era and due to new war knocking at our doors with some external pressure to act against North western region, our establishment desired internal stability and that make MQM again a favorite for karachi. Any of negotiation would have failed if demographics and international affair wouldn't have supported things in their favor.

You misunderstood my point regarding to PPP , their support for lyari gangs don't backfire them but to heavily depending on them even in those Pro-PPP constituencies where baloch were non existent , that lead them towards political setback.

I think you havent Read my reply fully because if you do then I also mentioned that PPP never had any Support from Karachi except for 2 constituency that were both Sindhi and Baloch Dominated. So they didnt had any support Base among 80% of Karachi as Pashtun in Karachi never followed any Ideological trend in Voting (just like FATA) Most of Punjabis and Urdu speakers support MQM so Non Baluch and Non Sindhi Karachiite never supported PPP in the past.

As of now Musharraf is no more a strong contender, for me he is threat for Mqm popularity in karachi as most of his targets are Mqm voters , It will just further divide Karachi and its citizens and then make us total slave of sindhu tribal lords. To some extent , I want Karachiites to unite for their issues but not under the banner of criminal MQM. Instead of Muhajir nationalism which not exist anymore , we should support pro-Karachi brotherhood for the sake of ourselves and for our future generations.

I was right about you that you have no idea about Karachi because Karachiite are DONE Voting for anything called Muslim league after death of Fatima Jinnah's and they are not turning back no matter who is in charge and it is also well known that Musharraf wont play for the Price of Karachi rather his Real Price is GHQ so he is bringing together all those who have connected with Muslim league's different groups from all over Pakistan and their is hardly any person that has any relevance in Karachi. MQM is only HOPE of Karachi Unity currently because so far Karachiite havent found a single Party worthy to represent them their were Hopes on PTI but even PTI also turned out to be Disappointment(Thanks to Taliban Stance of PTI) and now only MQM has this potential now to actually UNITE Karachi even Lyari is also coming close to MQM and last PPP Jalsa is Proof of that when 100 Buses sent to Lyari returned to Jalsa Empty and so many Pashtuns in Karachi also says that MQM's time was BEST time in Karachi but MQM need to Seriously work on their Contacts with Pashtun.

For your Info MQM wanted GOVT. UNIVERSITY(like KU, PU, Mehran University etc) in Hyderabad not Private University because Govt. University provides LOW COST EDUCATION for masses what they are getting in return is that Malik Riaz who has already made Billions from Bahria Town Karachi by Selling Property in the Market(Which is also called ADVANCE BOOKING) is returning Marginal Profit of Bahria Town to FINANCE a Govt. Project that PPP had been Ignoring for Ages. BTW have you ever been to Hyderabad in your Live????MQM does Dominate from Urban Hyderabad but doesnt actually Clean Sweep every time because Hyderabad has Sindhi Majority not Muhajir Majority and in Hyderabad Qasimabad have been mostly under PPP influence.

MQM is alive because they were supported by establishment during Musharraf and Zardari era , they not only supported Mqm but eradicated almost all of its opponent around the city, If state had played the neutral role during that 13 year period then Karachi would not have converted into Mafia zone of MQM . MQM survived and surviving due to state support , and once state stopped their support , I'm sure MQM can't survive anymore in modern day demographics of Karachi .

Still they can and they will because lets not forget their die hard support continues to exist en mass in northern part of Karachi. And they have also spread in southern posh areas after a mass in-city migration from northern side to south during the days of chaos in 2009-12. You might argue they may have won 10 out of 51 PA seats by unfair means but even if given an open field, they can always win 35-42 seats.

Completely Agree with you on that but Their are no Alternatives for not just Muhajirs but whole Karachiite.....Every so called Alternatives that had been Thrown on Karachiite for last 30 years of Establishment operation and Experiment has Miserably failed and made Karachiite Anti State in the past....MQM needs serious Reforms they have Managed to Survive their First Generation and Second Generation is on the corner to take the Charge so from First Generation Establishment should work on that instead because they can get better Results when MQM is in charge MQM - Altaf is not only good for MQM but also for Establishment and Karachiite.
