Muslims for the past 1300 years have been razing the places of worship of others and building their own on them.

Or just razing them because they symbolize faith in someone other than Allah.

we live in a democratic county with modern law, if India was a hindu kingdom living in last century, sure, they should destroy all mosques and build temples all over the place... why compare a modern democracy with rule of kings some of which were invaders...

one can argue there is a 'cultural' continuum, not political... if you mean hindus (as citizens) should build temples over mosques, well its upto them, but as a political entity, republic of india should not allow, this is not what was promised.. even sh*tty theocratic states dont do these sort of thing and GoI should use legal means to stop it.
yes India as political entity was born in 1947, inheriting it from british...

Well it is not my place to decide what happens in india .. but my opinion is that the use of force which happened on that day was not right and not opposing such acts would result such kinds of events.
