Would I be a libtard if I wanted a strong action against TLP?
But then again I also want the state to act against PTM?
So my libtard credentials face a conflict.
Here is the thing....If being a libtard means wishing a Pakistan where no private group holds the state hostage for even one hour then I will proudly wear that badge.
Libturds are those who go against the majority's culture, norms and beliefs and openly make fun of them..
For example, if someone says that he/ she wants to dress inappropriatly which hurts the feelings of majority, and doesn't respect the cultural norms... Not only that, he/ she considers others as backwards living in 7th century AD, then he / she is giving birth to extremism against his / her behavior.
If someone says that he wants to drink alcohol in open and behave like animals in public, then he is inviting people to beat him.
The other end's extremists are those who don't want to allow drinking behind the walls or who don't allow people to undress even in the toilets.
Both are the side effects of each other and both are cancers of the society and should be eliminated.
Another example of tolerance is that people don't eat in open of the majority living in that area is fasting. Or people don't eat beef on a dining table if there is a hindu sitting with him. Or a Christian colleague don't insist to order pork if there is a Muslim colleague sharing the table with him. But if the Christian really orders it, then the Muslim will be tempted to say something disgusting about pork.. Or if the Muslim orders beef, the hindu will definitely think bad about it and will prefer not to share the table with him ever again. If he is a devout hindu, he may leave rightaway as well or may start an argument on the table.
A tolerant society is that where people respect majority's beliefs, culture and customs, and they are in turn allowed to do whatever, however they want, in their homes. This society trusts its judiciary. A Christian living in pakistan should be given all the rights to live according to his beliefs. If he prefers to eat pork, there should be dedicated market where he could get it without fearing that he will be hooted upon.. But it doesn't mean that he gets his vodka outside of his home, in majority of muslims, and starts behaving wierd, and starts kissing his partner or starts undressing her in public..
