Altay tanks are designed for conventional warfare, not fighting militants and IED's in urban and mountainous areas. Therefore, it would just be risking high tech tanks for a job m60's also can do. Not worth it

The M-60 can easyly be knock out even by the simplest Variants of RPG-7. ISIS, PYD & other have far more advanced AT Weapons than RPG-7, need more advanced armour and this mean MBT active Protections Systems !
