Yar its crystal clear there is nothing called prefer the local industry thing .Its the kickback indian policy maker get from the local manufacturers .
Its always like this give money to policy makers and they will make policy in ur favour thts it.Nothing toward china or stuff.
And one more thing the much u can pay the better u gonna get .so dont say we dont compromise on quality .Want excellent quality pay more for it and u can have it.
Am I witnessing a lawyer talking about commerce?
Maybe I am ,if not kindoff......
Why the indian cos taking the whip due to imports especially from chinese?
1) Dumping
2)Cheap quality
3) Subsidies to chinese exporters from chinese gov
4)Tax exemptions to chinese exporters
5) Undervalued currency-here it is yuan
6) Providing of timely delivery due to large scale manufacturing, but with absolutely far low maintainance support and supply of spares
.
.
.
.
so on.....
Why Indian cos cant stand by chinese cos in exports and satisfying domestic needs?
Main reasons:-
1)No subsidies from Indian gov
2)No tax exemptions
3)Manufacturing costs due to desired quality
4)Low scale of production due to low orders from domestic customers, but good post sale maintianance support
5)Varrying indian currency that takes a whip when exports are concerned
I dont want everyone to be mentally stable here to realise the options and polocies offered to both sides.
The main advantage chinese suppliers are getting is through the undervalued yuan when dealing with exports.
Whether the policy makers are getting bribes from these foreign suppliers or not is a different story beyond the curtain, but what makes the matter significant is the impotency of being unable to put fair commerce system in place.
when Indian manufacturers were being changed 50% more when they export to china, why cant the Indian gov do the same to chinese suppliers?
Here it says who is sold out to whom.Hence my request is that let us take the step when the gov is reluctant of doing so.Lets avoid buying something that hurts our own people.
Aren`t we buying something from an enemy where the money later on jacks up his own economy and thereby increasing his support to proxies?
