Afridi Lala Opens a restaurant by the name of splice

I dont think such restrictions for citizens of the same country exist anywhere else in the world....
In fact mixing should be encouraged by making it easier for people of one part of the country to move and work or open business in another part of the country...
right now we keep stuck in our little corners and that's why we have such racist bigoted mentality about each other...all ethnicities included.

I am sure it does exist everywhere in the world. even the basic Islamic law of "Haq Shufa" is local community protection law for property.

what I am saying is there should be a system that regulates the economic mobility. there was a culture of Lahore, its hardly found now. still fair enough because it turned out to be our slum metropolitian city and everyone should be allowed to do business.

but there has to be local community protection laws, that gives part of the benefit to the locals of any activity by outsiders.

Yes dont get me wrong, there are businesses even as far as Gilgit that are operated by Punjabis and even Sindhi/Urdu Speaking.

all I want is to regulate the relationship by law, that should benefit the locals which currently doesnot.

.
local community protection laws should be introduced before its too late and Lahore becomes another Karachi !

P.S. again dont get me wrong please.

I love Karachi as much as I love any part of Pakistan
Sir I am really very sorry that break Pakistan or other wise every one should be allowed to invest

. .
Afridi can invest where ever the heck he likes, stop making it a big issue guys.

He won't be playing cricket or getting endorsements forever

So from a business perspective it's a smart decision (assuming a sound business plan)

I just hope his brother remembers to keep his gun collection at home; don't do firing outside and scare away the customers

The Indians think this way. We shouldn't

Pakistani can't be "outsider" in his own nation. My village is yours, your city is mine

Leader sounds like a pre-pubescent whiny 12 year old

All I said was to regulate economic mobility through some protectionist laws for the local community. and thats fair demand.

hope you understand.

you will understand this after 20-25 years. hold tight !!

Dont get me wrong, the guy is from FATA, lived in Karachi and invested in Lahore?

Seriously !!

there should be some restrictions, Lahore is already an example of mismanagement like Karachi, upon this a nonsense cricket Dushebag certified chawal shahid afridi is getting a restaurant here in Lahore !!

Whats wrong, is there any law that bars Pakistanis to reside in certain areas? We invite people from abroad for investment and you have objections on Pakistanis investing in one area or other. I hope your account is not hacked

. .
Notice how I said "capital". A restuarant is not the only venture. But the issue isn't timing -- it's a general issue -- if people like Afridi had invested in FATA say a decade ago, we would not have such of a problem there as we have now.

Brother its his investment and its his right to invest it anywhere he feels like or invest where he expects maximum return so his natural choices would be large cities where people have purchase power. Let the government provide better communication facilities in FATA, some incentives for businessmen, only then we should expect investment. Any businessman would like to earn and then spend on welfare but not for later only. Welfare business is primary job of state and better it should lead it.

Its not :)

there is no law (as far as I know) that bars, neither I am suggesting that anyone should be stopped from investing anywhere in Pakistan. all I am suggesting is to have local community protection laws that protect the local community and their indigenous rights to the land and economic activities !!
