He talk a lot of reasons for Pakistan to establish relationships with the state of Israel alright yet I fail to see a particularly good reason for Israel to do the same, what do we have to gain from Pakistan that I can't see?
We're not Arabs, you can interpret that fact as you wish. We're also not overly interested Arab-Israeli relations, nor are we at all interested in inter-Arab conflicts which we find puzzling, unnecessary, petty and quite stupid.
Nor are Pakistanis half as incompetent as Arabs in all measures of foreign relations, diplomacy, war and espionage. Our civilian leadership is inept and corrupt, our generals are almost the same but they have an air of legitimacy about them that they've not earned but inflicted on civilians. Despite these obvious problems, we still thank God we are not ruled by utterly visionless, completely self-serving, tribalistic to the extent of close family and hopelessly stupid rulers that our Arab brothers had (or have currently) been cursed with.
Pakistan is a poor country but its potential is beyond the measure of many, and I'm not a gambler, but Pakistan would be a good bet for achieving a significant part of that potential in the future.
Right now, we have some clout in the Muslim world, and our power projection is quite subtle. We don't have the luxury of throwing money around to get favours as gulf states can, neither do we have the economic power of major trading blocks and nations. Our importance in the Middle East is unique, I can't think of another nation out there with this niche. We are the guarantors of the security of KSA and by default their GCC allies, alongside the US, only we're Muslims too. We're neutral in many conflicts in the Middle East and often play the role of mediation, especially between Iran and Saudi, and any proxy wars they partake in, Yemen being a good example. We have an old tradition of military ties and presence in the Middle East, dating back from when the the British Indian Army marched through Baghdad, and even Jerusalem and Haifa, it was from that army that the Pakistan army was formed. Today we are known for training a good chunk of Arab forces, and still to this today providing all sorts of assistance. Our former COAS is the current leader of the Saudi coalition, he has also been spotted in the past making public appearances being the only person that isn't a head of state.
Israel could use a neutral Muslim power with the influence that Pakistan has, with the growing role it will play in the Middle East, and of course Pakistan provides a unique kind of position in terms of its influence, soft and subtle power. We are also 3,200 km (2,000 miles) away from you, and we're not natural enemies or natural allies, public outrage at Israel has existed for a long time, but that's been kept in check because of ground realities and an understanding of neutrality that has kept Pakistan's official positions reflecting those of the public.
