Off course they would be. There is no longer an information lockdown imposed upon them. What makes you think a movement like those in Tunisia or otherwise would have happened had there been no social media or internet?
There is an awakening among the youth to get out of the stoning and protest phase and move towards education. After all, both India and Pakistan were not formed after guerilla wars but by actively participating in the Raj's political system...why cant the same be done here?
The long and short of it is that: they want to live normal peaceful and aspirational lives..... not like people who have to live with the thought of: where is the next explosion going to take place?
