50 Indian Double-decker Buses Arrive

We Bangladeshi's welcome Pakistani brothers advice as they are our well wishers, despite what happened between us in the past, instigated by third party. When needed we will also give advice to our Pakistani brothers, on matters that we have better experience on. This should not irritate any third party but alas it does!!!

Third party didn't order the troops to kill her own citizens. Few Bangladeshis seeing Pakistan as 'brothers' does not mean the whole nation sees them as brothers and all is forgotten.

We need a road to China. Then the import cost will be reduced from China.

Do not want to see so many Indian motors. Be it cheap, be it good.

Better you should have said "we should have our own automobile industry in Bangladesh".

Ashok Leyland Titan Double Decker buses on outskirts of Bombay, driven all the way to Bangladesh (Dhaka) for BRTC. There were atleast 10 of these buses.

Some Indian opened a 2 month old thread just to advertise their Double Docking junk. NO need to advertise indians, we already know that you can produce such junk.

At least we produce junk. What do you produce? Just a lot of hot air from bigmouths like you that add to global warming.

By the way these buses are not the high end ones because BD cannot afford them. A Volvo class double decker manufactured in India would cost you four times the amount. Nuff said!

Now volvo is Indian brand eh. What kind of copy right infringement we should call it as such
plagiarism is unparalled in 21st century. On top of advertising junk on a 2 month old thread you
are claiming a foreign brand as indian.:disagree:

This is just one example. The truck is based on a Isuzu design. And only for military purposes. Sadly not for commercial.

As for commercial:

Much of this is limited to assembly for now :D Bangladesh is a small country with not much demand for vehicles for now. Statistically, very few Bangladeshis actually own vehicles.

Lol at junk comment. India produces transport vehicles from high end A/C buses to even cheap mini buses. All depends on buyer's requirement. When ur thin, tiny and polio ridden purse doesn't allow you to get a better version then what else do you expect ? Be thankful enough that you are getting these.

Junk? Everything you use in Bangladesh is mostly murir tin. :enjoy:

Kabhi aayinna dekha hai kya, Bundarr kya jaanay adrukk ka sawad. First make your own buses and then come open your ****** mouth. Then, we way pay any mind to you.

As they say, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. No knowledge at all, sucks. As is the case with you. I keep wondering, how come people can be so dumb? Is it because of a lack of education? Or is it some sorta inferiority complex that makes them shoot from the hip in the hope that someone will think he's a genius?

Now let's get to the brass tacks. You say Volvo buses are not produced/manufactured in India? Volvo Buses are being manufactured in India for the past 10 years, with a state-of-the-art factory near Bangalore and has attained a leadership status in the coach and city bus manufacturing segments in India. The company also exports to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

In 2008, Volvo Buses established an independent company – Volvo Buses India Private Limited – and inaugurated its Complete Bus Factory near Bangalore, which would be the first Indian company totally & singularly focused on offering bus related solutions under one roof. By setting up the factory, Volvo created a first in India by offering the entire bus – the chassis, the body and all accessories from under one roof. The new factory, was built based on Volvo’s global best practises and in effect was the most modern, even though it would have a capacity of about 1000 buses.

Of the 85,000 new engines that will be manufactured in Pithampur every year, 30,000 will be sent to the Volvo Group’s engine plant in Vénissieux in France for final assembly.
