Ranking does not take crew quality, command, logistic, air support and other factors. I think with equal crews and other factors 4800+ Syrian tanks would simply flood 1300 Israeli tanks. Anyhow Syria tank fleet is halved now. So top 10 should be:

As per the 2010 Ministry of defence report,A total of 300 Al khalid were built and the report also had mentioned 2 further batches of 2x21 to be manufactured in the year 2011 and 2012.

As per the 2013 Ministry of defence report,A total of 14-16 Al khalid were manufactured and as per the latest few months older report only 4 are to be built this year.

So the Total numbers of Al khalid in service are atleast around 350-360

T-90 is derived from T-72 like Type-98. They are more advanced tanks.

obviously you forget the Singapore their tank armament is quite impressive consider their population size

Singapore has quite impressive tank fleet compare to its size but not so impressive overall.

I guess India has much more than 450 T-90s in active service today(around 900 T-90s). But anyway a very good job.

IISS says 485 not 450.

The first contract for 310 T-90S was signed in 2001 and its complete.

India also plans to produce 1000 another T-90 in 14 years. Thats 71 tank a year.

The first locally produced T-90M was inducted in august 2009.

That means in almost 5 years since then about 350 were produced. Thus India has 310+350=660 T-90 today.

That will increase the rank to 1870.

1000 active tanks? Well blame the IISS, I know nothing about Bangladesh army to be honest.

Yes they have many and quite modern.

Merkava tanks were not exported but many components were exported and can be found in very unexpected places.
