This cartoon is not all that offensive. I'm sure that this can be published in major Indian news outlets and not raise a furor. Sure, the online comments section could expect a storm - but it would not leave the tea cup.

Hindus are not insecure about the polytheistic nature of their faith. On the contrary, they find it odd that a monotheistic faith makes sense for others

Charlie Hebdo is now trying to repair some damage. Try to understand. They have been specifically targeting Muslims and Islam. They got a lot of backlash for their hypocritical stance for singling out Muslims. With such subtle criticism of Hindus they are trying to garner goodwill. The Hindu criticism is peanuts. Still cajoling India and Hindus with gloves.

In most of the Christian countries people are free to criticize Christianity . And so if they also criticize hinduism . It is perfectly fine . At least they are not hypocrites .

Hindus are no stranger to criticism of their religion . Most critics of hinduism are hindus and that is a good thing .

They are: 8-Vasu, 11-Rudra, and 12-Aaditya, 1-Indra and 1-Prajaapati.

About covid in India, situation is improving slowly.. Hell even world's super power America was rendered helpless with more than 33.5 million cases with just 350 million population and highest number of deaths.. We are still third world nation with 1.35 billion population.. What can you expect???

Dalits were most oppressed till 1980's.. However with better education and reservations in jobs, their situation has improved a lot.. You gonna have weaker section amongst all factions of society.. Be it HIndu, muslim, sikh, Christen or Dalits..

About Modi, he is elected PM of my nation. obviously if he is insulted many will show aggression.. However, HE IS NOT SYMBOL OF HINDUISM.. Majority of BJP supporters are Hindu by religion, that's why there is a verbal retaliation.. This has nothing to do with Hinduism..

Obviously many thing which are happening in India at the moment are not desirable (Corpses in Ganges, shortage of vaccine and higher mortality rate). But let me tell you, Indian healthcare system was never prepared for such a outburst of cases and that's why more fatalities..
