100 foot Chinese God statue covered after Muslims threaten to break down

Islam will rule the world, so naturally that includes Chinese. the superpower on the rise will have to deal with radical Islam, and I don't think money works.

This was not expected of you.

How you can leave the discretion to Indonesian Muslims to them if they want or not?

What has Allah told?

Idols are the biggest haram in this world. So how are you ok with it?

Of course were not ok with it, our forefathers dumped hinduism its weird idols, superstition and worship of animals and abhorrent idols centuries ago.

As did the Indonesians to their own form of idol worship

But Indonesia is a free country if they as a muslim majority state want to harm and abuse their minorities who are we to complain
Does China, india, burma etc not do the same?

If the Indonesians don't want the statue let them burn it down what do I care

We are from south asia, how many temples, idols etc have we destroyed over the centuries, who are we to accuse the Indonesians

Ancestor worship is rooted in Confucianism. Ancient Vedic don't, neither do Buddhism. Totally different.
How much do you know of Vedas?? An entire month is dedicated for Ancestor worshiping in India.

.
Hindu worship many things or gods, the central belief is rebirth. Confucianism don't, ancestor spirit never change. They are totally different philosophy.

Lot of big Hindu idols in Indonesia.. How local Muslims view it?

They tolerated them!!

But increasingly they see the threat to muslims in Burma, india etc and are becoming increasingly intolerant with more and more groups putting pressure on minorities and idol worshippers and more calls to pull down the idols that were previously allowed to be put up

How come artificial identity like Pakistani Indonesians or south Asians matter?

Allah has commanded to destroy idols and you should do it. You are a Muslim first of all right?

Or a Pakistani?

But now lot of Indonesians coming back to Hinduism leaving Islam specifically eastern Java.

It is true what you have stated above. As someone who has spent time for 4 years in Indonesia and Malaysia, it amazed me how well local Indian and Chinese work together to survive among the many local hostility towards them whether its political motivated, racism or religious bigoted attitudes and yet both ethnicity on average are rich or middle income without even the support of the local government.

When the riot of 1998 occured against the Ethnic Chinese Indonesian, only ROC/Taiwan lodge protest against the horrible treatment/killing. Mainland China kept silence about it under the guise of no interfering with other nations's affair. I can tell you that it was the turning point for the oversea Chinese about how they viewed mainland china/PRC.

at that time , mainland China still poor and the influence also limited, but if you look back in recent year, how China influence malaysia goverment for her anti-chinese movement. i said, it's briliant movement.
also under Xi leadership, China became active player. the world will see Chinese Influence, whether they like it or not.
