10 railway coaches brought from Indonesia

even for the Chinese the exports are getting contracted?
China is a big economy which is not like BD or Indian economy. Even BD-like weak country is expanding its trade and export. But, Indian exports are shrinking year after year. If it is not for bad quality it must be for late delivery and short life of Indian shoddy goods. Please do not compare with China.

Sure, exporting RMGs on LDC quota is the big deal here. Just a snippet on India's medium-high technology exports

BEML rake for Delhi metro

Whatever glitters is not gold, certainly. But, here I would like to note about your railway curve above in the picture. The Radius of Curvature (R) is too small for a 120 degree curve, and to me it seems it is not fit for a fast moving train. So, I am surprised about the Indian standard of construction of railroads!!

It's a railyard doofus, not the mainline.

So Bangladeshis can judge the construction standards of Delhi metro ? I am amazed. BTW those DMRC folks are involved in your Dhaka Metro project & Jakarta Metro too.

RMG manufacturers shouldn't be commenting on quality of rolling stock.

How do you know the picture is for a yard? Yard railway tracks are not curved. Usually, these are straight lines. Do not twist the hands of BD politicians and we will not see any Indian railwayman in BD.

Stitching/Darji works are our traditional works. Muslims from out of India introduced stitching here - do not forget it. Before that the Hindus used to wear non-stitched clothing.

We are making a target practice in industrialization. It is RMG today. Tomorrow it will be some others, and the day after tomorrow there will be many others. We are here to beat the bullying India in every sector.

Not bad looking, are these metros or regular train? Seems all foreign brands manufactured in India, any domestic brand?
You don't even have a clue of what you're talking about. Ever seen the facilities at BEML Bangalore metro plant/Bombardier India at Vadodara/ Alstom India Sri City / MCF Raebareli ?

Here is Bombardier India's export to Australia- Queensland Next Generation Rolling Stock

But of course, beggars cannot be choosers.

It's quite amusing to see Bangladeshis, who lag behind Kenya & Uganda in scientific output & industrial capability dismissing our products as 'third-class'. Even still these buggers can't even put together their own motorcycles.

Or trucks...

The local market for commercial vehicles is huge, but it is dominated by Indian brands like Tata and Ashok Leyland, she said at a press conference at Rangs Bhaban in Dhaka. Of the total market share, Tata holds around 50 percent, followed by Ashok Leyland at 25 percent and Eicher 12 percent.

Who is losing market ? Bangladesh isn't even a major market anyway & can't afford anything without soft loans financing it.

''Engineering exports from India are expected to cross US$ 70 billion in FY 15 registering a growth of 15 per cent over the previous fiscal.''

What about 'engineering exports' from Bangladesh ? And for sure, our products ranging from for motorcycles to spacecraft are too low-tech for a bunch of sweatshop coolies who are capable of nothing but stitching RMGs in poorly built factories oops 'plazas' which may collapse any minute.

These are metro rakes, except for the last one which is a regular coach. BEML is a domestic producer.

What kind of non sense is this ? It is DMRC's kalindi kunj metro depot- look at the depot behind the train. Or see this.

Do not twist the hands of BD politicians and we will not see any Indian railwayman in BD.

So what made the Indonesians-whom you literally worship-select us for consultancy for their Jakarta metro ? And don't tell me that we did that with the Mayor of London.

London Crossrail can be as good as Delhi Metro, says Ken

The Indians firms which gained experience working with DMRC are now building them abroad-a good example would be Riyadh metro construction by L&T. Basically we have the experience & you don't. So keep the BS to yourself.

Stitching/Darji works are our traditional works. Muslims from out of India introduced stitching here - do not forget it. Before that the Hindus used to wear non-stitched clothing.

You see, we didn't introduce automobiles here & they aren't our traditional work. But we are the fifth largest producer of automobiles. Just saying.

Tomorrow it will be some others, and the day after tomorrow there will be many others. We are here to beat the bullying India in every sector.

Looking at the state of your industry, you cannot graduate out of low value added garments manufacturing for decades to come. What kind of industry do you have other than RMG ? Don't say shipbuilding & Pharma, they are too small for anything.

All that is inconsequential what really matters is they are the global leaders in making T-shirts.

@gslv mk3, only yesterday you avoided my comments about the non-experience of railroad engineers. You said the tracks with an insufficient Radius of Curvature, R, are inside a yard. Now, look below to know what happened to those tracks only yesterday. Bloody Indian pathological liar.

I seriously doubt that guy is an engineer, maybe he is someone who just read for the sake of knowledge.Anyone can proclaim himself as an engineer, there is google you see.

Lol, ignorance shines again. News reports say that both trains were on the same line. What does that have to do with the radius of curvature of the track, doofus ?

That the trial for Unattended Train Operation (GoA 4), not a regular trial run to certify the tracks -which was done months ago. If you can understand what I mean.

And it's bloody funny to see Bangladeshi calling DMRC engineers as 'inexperienced'. DMRC is the most successful metro system in the region.

Do I need a certificate from Bangladeshi equivalent of ASME ? Bangladesh Society for Sweatshop Workers ?

First educate your compatriot who doesn't even know what a CNC lathe is.

What does that have to do with the radius of curvature of the track, doofus ?
See the lower picture. Did not you falsely stated the rly. lines are inside a yard and so it is curved? Now, your own newspaper shows the same picture to say it is the main line. See the line at the extreme right (from the side of ours), it has a very low 'R' considering it has about 120 degree angle of curvature. But, anyway, do you really understand what R means and what is the relationship between the angle and R of a curvature? If you do not know it is useless to talk to you.

Now, how about your obsolete lathe machines? We have discarded them before 30 yrs. Do you want to see what other lathe machines are? We import high class lathe machines from Korea and you are still using those obsolete machines.

It's the yard doofus, it starts at the Kalandi link depot which is at grade- use Google maps for God's sake. Delhi Metro's mainline tracks are either elevated or underground. Did that track look elevated/underground to you ?

No I don't- if that floats your boat.
120 degrees ? Who taught you middle school mathematics ? Is the education standard in Bangladesh so low ?
Look at the Google Maps image I've posted above- you'll get idea about the radius of curvature- and this is a yard, not someplace where these trainsets hit 80 kph.
And what does the radius of curvature of the track have to do with a flaw in Unattended Train Operation system, doofus ?

Yeah really? Even your much advanced 'Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory' cannot produce a CNC lathe- a basic lathe is all you can produce with the state of the technology existing in your country.
You discarded them 30 years ago ? Going by the state of your manufacturing capabilies, even a basic lathe is an overkill.
Do you want to see what other lathe machines are? We import high class lathe machines from Korea and you are still using those obsolete machines.
High class :omghaha:
The production & consumption of machine tools in a country is directly related to it's industrial capabilities. Given that India has a large automobile industry, we consume a lot of them. What does Bangladesh require them for ? You don't require a CNC turning center for stitching clothes.
And there are several other machine tools like Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centers, Gear hobbers, Multi-axes machining centers, CNC grinders, Multi station SPMs-ever heard of them ?
We manufacture & export them, while you dream about importing machine tools for your non existent high value added manufacturing sector.
