10 railway coaches brought from Indonesia

I can't play Football Well But Boy I can tell which player plays better! Bangladeshi workers who worked with both Indian and Indonesin based rail way coaches have commented based on their experience.

What experience do they have- other than hot forging small components without proper safety gear ?

To put it in perspective, your Saidpur workshop doesn't have the capability to 'maintain' LHB trainsets. This one is beyond your industrial capability.

Whatever the capability is Its not important.. Basically I can compare which coaches remained problem free without my maintenance work. Can't I?

It has only been a few weeks ever since Indian coaches were inducted. How would they know about the maintenance required so quickly ?

actually PT INKA is in revitalization process, after being underfunded for long time, there is rapid process of mechanization, digitalization and developing the second production facilities at other places (Gresik, East Java).

the photos below INKA production facility, is came from around before 2010.....

Guys stop trolling.

Bangladesh does not compare to India in manufacturing of rail coaches, rakes or rolling stock. It is a neglected sector in Bangladesh which should get more attention.

One shouldn't compare RCF LHB plant at Kapurthala, India and Saidpur Rail coach repair facility in Bangladesh.

LHB plant was set up in 1986 with ToT from Germany and massive investment from India Govt.

Saidpur was set up by the British in 1870, almost 150 years ago. In fact they still use some equipment from that era.

Saidpur repairs coaches now although they will be manufacturing at some point. Some BMRE is being done.

off topic. The comparison was between India and Indonesia in OP. Not India Vs Bd. Bangladesh being the buyer has the right to review purchased products so other Developing countries do not make the same mistake

Bangladeshis- yeah right, great source. I don't expect these people to know anything much. Here's your much advanced Saidpur Workshop.

@Nilgiri Is this the picture you were talking about ?

One of them. There was an even worse one where a guy was physically hammer hot forging with sandals and such....you can just make him out in this picture.

This country has no notion of even basic industrial capacity and manufactured workmanship beyond stitching cloth (which apparently takes much much more skill :P)

Don't worry too much about these bongos whining btw. Its funny they bring up Indonesia....India is actively exporting and doing JV with Indonesian companies for use of TATA military vehicles for their army in a massive contract in their ongoing trade fair. So much for sub-standard.

This is what we call proper modern railway equipment, definitely far better than the third-grade products from the global shit-hole to our west.

Yes indeed, seems Indonesians are quite stupid unlike BD people

Smart BD should land a large contract for special quality military grade underwear with Indonesia and show the world what first-grade BD products are

Also teach everyone how to fake statistics in the BBS patented fashion (but it needs a heavy lobotomy first unfortunately so that people don't care that you do in the first place....and if they do they just pat you on the back while you drool).

BD top notch speshul skills!.....the reality and smell indicate otherwise from what they claim to be a non-shit hole:

I head out and omg, this place is infested with people like cockroaches, everyone stinks etc etc.

Sub-saharan Uganda produces DOUBLE the science output per capita than this speshul 1st grade hardware (underwear) and 1st grade software (BBS statistics) country. But science does not matter for these people.....BS and inferiority complex do!

Looks like I have hit a real nerve there, some Indians cannot bear the shock of gradually losing all their markets to other countries (Indonesia in this case).

That's what happens when you try to claim to be a Supa Pawa with the capability of manufacturing only third-grade products with low IQ human resource.

.
Wow, soo tense here. Anyway, Indonesia and especially INKA is definitely grateful to our BD friend for their trust in our train products.

BTW, are there any representatives from BD officials that attend INDO DEFENCE 2016?

I'm not sure but there must be. We have recently bought X12 High-Speed Patrol Boats from Indonesia and Bangladesh Navi is currently looking for a reliable MPA platform, Indonesia could be a good source.

You don't even have a clue of what you're talking about. Ever seen the facilities at BEML Bangalore metro plant/Bombardier India at Vadodara/ Alstom India Sri City / MCF Raebareli ?

Here is Bombardier India's export to Australia- Queensland Next Generation Rolling Stock

It's quite amusing to see Bangladeshis, who lag behind Kenya & Uganda in scientific output & industrial capability dismissing our products as 'third-class'. Even still these buggers can't even put together their own motorcycles.

Or trucks...

The local market for commercial vehicles is huge, but it is dominated by Indian brands like Tata and Ashok Leyland, she said at a press conference at Rangs Bhaban in Dhaka. Of the total market share, Tata holds around 50 percent, followed by Ashok Leyland at 25 percent and Eicher 12 percent.

Who is losing market ? Bangladesh isn't even a major market anyway & can't afford anything without soft loans financing it.

''Engineering exports from India are expected to cross US$ 70 billion in FY 15 registering a growth of 15 per cent over the previous fiscal.''

What about 'engineering exports' from Bangladesh ? And for sure, our products ranging from for motorcycles to spacecraft are too low-tech for a bunch of sweatshop coolies who are capable of nothing but stitching RMGs in poorly built factories oops 'plazas' which may collapse any minute.

It seems that some people here doesn't even have a clue of what a modern rolling stock production plant looks like. This is quite understandable, as they have only seen Saidpur worshop & sweatshops. Here is a glimpse of MCF, Raebareli where LHB coaches are made.

That 'quality' is reflected in the posts of Bangladeshi members. For example, @Species thinks that India has the same number of cars as Bangladesh
