Keeping the Indian army in line ~ Examining the role of Nehru.

Excerpts from "India after gandhi ~ Ramachandra guha". The Indian army is a professional and wholly non-sectarian body. It is also apolitical. Almost from the first moments of Independence, Jawaharlal Nehru made it clear to the army top brass that inmatters of state – both large and small...

Ship with banned sat phone intercepted, crew arrested

Its plausible banned drugs are contained inside the goats in small plastic ampules. Otherwise it makes no economic sense for them to smuggle them all the way across the sea and use thuraya phones. That caught my attention too. How did they intercept sat phones?

Pakistani man arrested for military espionage in Germany

This is actually quite interesting. Pakistani students are also getting uprooted from Europe including Eastern Europe. Technology espionage, although very common is not exactly well publicized. The fact that they chose to publicize this and the perpetrator's origin, is quite interesting.

Interestingly it reveals a very strong cooperation among the BRICS countries without whose concerted initiative, none of our efforts would have borne fruit. Thank you Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa :) @Chinese-Dragon , @RazPaK, @Icewolf, @xyxmt,
