I am in doubt because what I know is that Z-10 evaluation ended long ago and they were returned few months backsame argument for JF17s we rolled out the 100th jet yet china has none
its about suitability in the end for a country
. T-129, cobra or mi5 s might be more suitable for pakistan
hazoors Hazrats and Huzraat
i dont think the major is an official endorsement or rejection after the evolution. but we been testing t129 very extensively too and it seems we might be tilted towards turkish machine
I think with the T129 a big factor was TAI offering offsets to PAC - i.e. basically buy T129 parts and services from PAC for Turkish Army T129s. So if the Pakistani T129 program costs $1.5 bn for 30 helicopters, over 10 years TAI might buy $250 to $500 m in products and services from PAC. The other aspect is if under T129 the likes of Aselsan, Havelsan, Roketsan, etc set-up shop in Pakistan they might use Pakistani suppliers to implement the PA order. The overall idea is to have as much of the procurement money as possible spent within Pakistan.historical army has never really opted for joint production unless pushed
Calm down brother...he's just giving his opinion. Why are serving military personal now posting whatever they want on social media!? And making comments like "not the best of machines".
The military leadership needs to crack down on this.
Design wise, Z10 seems better than T129. But engine, sensors & other electronics does matter most.As I've stated many times before, until the Z-10 gets a decent powerplant, it will always fall short of other helicopters such as the AH-64 and Mi-24 in armor, sensors, performance, and payload.

Because China and Pakistan are friends, the trade is fair. You need WZ-10, we will talk about joint venture. You don't need it? That's OK too!If Z-10 was short on expectations, I am sure China can meet where you want to take it. They have technology, infrastructure, resources and reason to support you. Be part of Z-10 program for the next 10 years and have JF-Z10 made out of it.
because armies dont counter copter for copter. Why not heavy weight MI-28NM as a counter to Indian Apache ?
