Sir if we still measures things like US standards we will not able to induct any non US choppers, same issue pointed out about T 129. Instead we should approach JF 17 like and acquire choppers TOT basis.

True, however here's our problem. Our armed helos will be used under hot, dusty and humid conditions whether on eastern or western border. Under powered helos will be sitting ducks, that's why army opted for the twin engine super cobras, whether we get them or not is another issue.

Why don’t you consider a powerfull foreign engine on Z-10 to offer export markets until domestic equivalent get mature? It would be win-win for selected institute and I don’t suppose they will tend to block likely deals as long as you play politic games around the rules. I don’t know If It is about embargo issue.

Besides, It will be appreciated If you share some detail specifications targetted with type-16 turboshaft.

That Canadian licence was for civilian use but China fitted them for military use.

Canada has no problem with it, but USA has.

USA goverment punished Canada HP for exporting it to China. The penalty imposed is around 75 millions USD.

The Canadians are very unhappy, but they can't struggle with USA.
