The height of embarrassment when a person like Pressler actually shames the shameless Haqqani a.k.a. "Buy my book First". Furthermore, Haqqani is truly consistent in changing sides but in other definition that he is always available on rent to write. His disappointment turned into current anger when he dreamed to become PM of Pakistan and started to set a ground whereby when countered, stoop to his understood level of treason and defaming Pakistan.

What actually happened in OP, is exactly been happening to many in past that sold the soul for mere money and seeking attention. The world wouldn't see you as being the friend of XYZ but in first, Haqqani is a traitor to his own homeland. Only a specific mindset will actually buy him for the service of may treat him as loyal to them but people with far sight will actually see the person the way he has been put in the place by Pressler. Ironically, Haqqani tried to be more loyal to US etc than there own officials and had the deserving slap though wouldn't expect anything from him as defined under the head of moral and self respect.

Maybe I'll save you some money here: what H.H. describes in the last book of his I read is, as I understand it, that he remained loyal to his convictions. When the group he was part of strayed from them he would either attempt to steer them back, resign, or leave.

The biggest money lovin power lovin people you will find is Jews. Try buying them out though? Money is one thing but being connected to your soil is another. Take me. I have residual connection with Pakistan. It has done nothing for me. However I would never brook anybody talking ill will about Pakistan. Never. I would never sell out Pakistan. I often think why this is so. Trust me it is not religion. I think in my case it is all about my father, his father and my ancestors. They lived on tract of landfor god knows how long. That land - part of which has just recently been shared out by my dad to us siblings is . It's carries the memory of my generations. I would never sell that land because it is a legacy. That legacy happens to be in Pakistan thus I would never sell out Pakistan. Tp be honest I am also very pro British. The only time I would have problems is if Britain and Pakistan clashed. Let us hope that never happens.

And I also think if a person gives up their legacy they will sell out again. Once sold always sold. The only thing left is the price. Take Britain. Can UK trust me? Yes but like I said it comes with a "but" and that "but" is Pakistan. I have soken to some English about this and they felt uneasy at me expressing my feelings for Pakistan. I told them if I had no feelings for Pakistan anything I would have for Britain would be useless. Because if I can exchange the land of my ancestors so easily surely I would sell UK easily as well. Therefore much as I was not prepared to give up on Pakistan they could trust me whatever loyalty I had for UK was rock solid - except if it involved Pakistan.
