I have seen Jats protestfor reservations .Some was even violent against BJP Govt .

So much for reservation.
I was also from General Category and I had to work twice than OBC or SC/ST for any govt related things .Rich guys from reserved category grabbed all opportunities and brilliant talented students from Gen have to look somewhere.

You come to PDF with the avatar of Tipu Sultan who killed, tortured and mutliated 1000s of Hindus and Christians....and you ask for reservations?

As a practical matter, when you do a business negotiation, would you walk into the room with a swagger , and remind the people you want to do business with that you used to beat them up and then ask for a discount?

Do you think you will get a discount that way?

Switch the picture of Tipu with a picture of Kalam , before you ask the people who you used to extract jizya from for concessions.

Totally as a practical matter, no matter how right you may be in asking whatever, you will not get an inch until you change that bravado attitude that Muslims have. If this attitude doesn't change, you will never get an inch, of that I am sure.

Now you're just whining for the heck of it.
A profile picture doesn't change the arguments made by a user, do they? There are plenty of Hindus here with pictures of Abdul Kalam. Doesn't stop them from talking about fulfilling their Hindu Rashtra fantasy and Hindus doing Muslims in for eating beef and not worshiping cows, does it? You can't bemoan a person for liking Tipu Sultan. Some people like Raja Dahir or Rana Sanga who was atrocious in his treatment to muslims. Religion always affects thinking which is why India and Pakistan are different countries. Our heroes will always be different. The best way is to respect the religious diversity by being neutral towards the leaders. At that time all commanders and leaders used to be at war and committed atrocities of every nature, especially on other religious groups.

It is show stoppers personal choice to like Tipu Sultan. This is his right. It has nothing to do with supporting tyranny or oppression. It is just the way these personalities are represented for muslims. There are many Hindu tyrants too like Rana Pratap but he is highly respected by you guys.

In some of our Lucknowi relatives view muslims should be given concessions of land and treasury and should be allowed to govern themselves. I was just pointing out a practical matter that's all. If you want concessions then you need to have an aimiable attitude. Please read my post. There is no way that Muslims will get special dispensations if they also celebrate aurngazeb as their hero...just wait and see....I am not saying it's right or wrong, but I think I understand human pchycology well enough .

The day that Muslim leadership stops brazenly revelling in the past massacres of Hindus and demolition of their temples and start putting their lot in with progressives and intellectuals of their own community will be the day they start getting concessions from the current descendants of those who were massacred.

Individuals from the Jat community carried out senseless violence, committed vandalism of public property costing lakhs of rupees, and allegedly even raped a number of women, and the government is currently trying to negotiate and settle this issue with them.
