We don't want to get on the horse. Problem is that India wants to be on the horse, but doesn't wants anyone around it to be on either a horse or a mule or even a donkey. So that is the problem, a country with regional super power mentality, who can't see the countries around it standing on its feet, or barely standing. That is the real problem.
And we won't let that happen, which becomes a pain in the Indian arse.
You have to be on the horse to get ahead. we all walk the road of progress, Some attain faster means than others.
Lets be frank here when was the last time The Sub-continent prospered. 400-900 years ago at the very least. Long before the British. May be As far as the Days of Akbar.
What has the sub-continent represented in the last 60 years, but poverty and war, is India to blame for all of it. Or is it spread amongst all parties. Sri lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
We fought wars, Civil wars have poverty in the Hundreds of Millions.
Now look at today,
India Is on the world stage Politically ,economically and in Space
The Civil war in Sri Lanka is over and the country can finally look to get back on Track
The Civil war in Nepal has subsided and order seems to have returned. growth prospects are also high
Bangladesh now has a new strong government committed to development and a fresh start.
Even Pakistan after years of Military rule, once again has a democratic government.
tell me how has India destabilized the region. Fact of the matter is Our growth has impacted favorably on the whole region. India has not made matters worse, Not saying they directly made everything better. But they neither made anything worse.
Our time on the horse has yielded no ill effect to anyone.
And today if south Asia has the look of a Stable region, that largely due to India.
To say India keeps everyone down is lie.
By definition, one cannot claim "superiority" without labeling someone else as inferior.
Act as normal human beings and not demigods, and we won't have the need to knock sense into you now and then.
No one is claiming superiority, That wholly depends on every nation other than India.
India has the right to be the best it can be, if that creates a disparity in power and capability. Is it India's fault for achieving it or everyone Else's for not keeping up.
