People from Guangdong etc. migrated to Vietnam in mass when Japanese agression happened. Its takes 2 hand to work. If Vietnam is working towards better of economy and prosperity, Why China shall not work with them? I dont think they are as stupid like American who think they can maintain hostility towards China while expect business as usual and will not suffer.

Vietnamese leadership do see the need to have good r/s with China if they want to continue prosper. The profit from developing a strong manufacturing economy is far fatter than drill oil from SCS which irk the China and causes more friction between 2 countries.

Vietnamêse language is original from Mon Khmer Language, not Sino Tibetan. So, In any case we do not permit such Hua or Han ethnic living in Vietnam will control our politic or economy in Vietnam.
