This list is wacked. Especially putting the fountain of Bellagio next to temple at Karnak. Anything vegas is fake, and Bellagio is no different.

very biased list
Cambodia has claimed twice
The only human structure visible in space is ranked 17th only

I guess people get bored of world's iconic landmarks having repeats every time so they want something new. But why Taj Mahal in there again? Too many indian voters? Some of the us sites are wacky and they have the most on the list WTF!

I personally cannot understand how bellagio fountains could outrank other US landmarks such as statue of liberty and washington monument and so on. As a music fountain on the global stage, it cannot stand against those in Dubai etc.

The other confusing one is gettysburg. it is a great and important landmark for Americans, however, I seriously doubt if there are enough foreign tourists to make it on the global top list.

also I believe this list does not include natural landmarks.

Agreed

Yes it doesnt include natural landmarks

This american landmark is missing from list. Irrespective of your political preference, the sheer mastery of scultping is magnificent:

I don't get it; they've missed some of the most significant monuments and places around the world.

But yeah.. Machu Pichchu is breathtakingly beautiful.

It is worth a visit even if it costs you a bomb (Asian members because of the huge distance and the number of flights required to reach there).

St. Peters Basilica, Vatican City, Rome, Italy

You are highly misinformed. The great wall is not visible in space with the naked eye it is visible with a machine though. Furthermore, there are many man made objects visible with cameras from space

Is China's Great Wall Visible from Space?: Scientific American

Think about it, it is very long but not wide at all.

We are not the ones who have made the claim but some foreigners

There is nothing wrong. The Great Wall is still more readily identified in space than other man made structures even with aided equipment
