o bhai uptill they found oil in mid 70s, they were helped by us.. its other way round, America has helped us too, does that mean we would practically surrender our integrity to them? No.

Can we assassinate Nawaz and get away with it?

oh can we assassinate Saudi family and bring freedom to your lands?

We're all the Saudi family and we enjoy our lives. You can shove the freedom elsewhere ;)

mr oil is found long before 70s sir. and the money and oil and that too at really low price they gave it too you that is the reason you are surviving and the problem with you is you become american touts and kill your own people and betray Muslims in Afghanistan and other parts of the world

an excellent example of brain washing..

you are xyz Arab, unless there is biological relation with the Al-Saud family, only then you are part of Al-Saud family.

Dont worry it wont make a difference, all will stay the same i guess.
Btw,who do you think will win?
the one chosen by Khamenei. only him knows. maybe Jalili maybe Velayati
no reformist, no moderate, no "soft" conservative , only hard liners as asked by Khamenei

you are confusing between blood line of Saud and being a Saudi citizen (belonging to greater Saudi family).

And please quit this petty bickering against average Saudi on PDF.

These guys have no relation to the Saudi charities the fundoos (fundamentalists) who support Talib-b@stards.

In fact many educated Saudis of today are as much a target of Saudi funddoos as we are in Pakistan being the target of Talib-B@stards.

So in many ways they are our allies in our fight against fundoos and Talib-B@stards and not enemies.

You are attacking the wrong group. Please quit.

How do you feel with Indians lump you a die hard PTIen with TTP?

Hope you understand.

peace to you.

Absolutely.

Many Pakistanis do not know their own history with Saudi Arabia and how things are in general.

They do not study and try to learn about KSA either.

And the stuff you see in PDF and some media outlets is surely based on heresy, and stories from low level poor workers or the ones who go for Hujj and Umra.

And thus they grow up with stories. Just stories that are limited to one or at most two sections of Saudi society.

many of them cannot differentiate between Saudi citizens and other Arabs.

So the ignorance remains on our part.

No I am not trying to prove that all KSA citizens are angels, and fairies. And no, not all of them are sitting in Makkah Madina, twirling tasbeeh, and reciting ahadees.

In fact in some ways, culturally speaking, educated young pakistanis are perhaps very similar to the educated young Saudis, and perhaps educated folks from Morocco.

Many Pakistanis do not know that Pakistanis and Saudis have had long history of interaction and long before 70s construction boom.

Many Pakistanis do not know (and may be even young Saudis do not know) that back in the 70s, the first MAJOR wave of Pakistanis who went to Saudi Arabia were Engineers and Doctors.

As a result, anyone in looking like Pakistani (by dress, or language or manners) was called "Ya Doktor" (Hi Doctor).

And no this is not based on rumor.

One of my Uncles worked in the Saudi heartland, in small beduin town back in early 70s. And this is his direct report. Back then many Pakistanis in KSA were top quality professionals, humble, and many became well versed in Arabic language (not just spoken but written).

Why the Arabic language. Well many of Pakistanis even today are familiar with Arabic script. And most of our languages have Arabic words in them. So with little effort these highly educated Pakistanis developed good communication.

Off course later on, lot of low-paid workers were sent to KSA. We did a poor job in training them, and they were not skilled and educated. And thus bad stuff happened too.

Anyways,

the bottom line is that

--- many Pakistanis "over-romanticize" medieval Arabia
--- many Pakistanis "over-criticize" modern Saudi Arabia

And that's a sure sign of being "un-aware" and perhaps "un-educated".

Let me cut long story short, you hate him right? Well, I wouldn't expect a Safavid-wannabe to like him at all.

Of course we all are going to day one day and who knows? Maybe you or myself or your mom die before Him.

I'm really excited :D I have been waiting for the moment that I could meet an Indian Safavid

Absolutely.

I just want to say that up to this moment, we still have many ultra-professional Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia. I work at Saudi National Guard Hospital and I often get to meet many of them. And that's not merely restricted in the health care sector ,but pretty much everywhere like Univeristies , R&Ds (over all) , Companies ,and even in the Military -Yes, this may come as a shock for many of you ,but every military college in KSA has its own Pakistani trainers and instructors. So, it goes without saying that the Pakistani community in KSA is variant.

On other note, We don't really have that much of high crime rate coming from the Pakistani labour force. I bet any Saudi here will agree on the fact that from the very moment we hear the call of prayers, the first people who go to pray are the labour Pakisatni workers, how come you don't want us *haters* to dislike Pakistanis?

For a Momin Life on Earth Is just Traveling From one dimension to another but for Kafir like SOB ABDULLAH SAUD is just start of torment and house of fire waiting for him in which inshallah he will be suffering with his forefather Forever :D.Ameen

So what? You want us to get on all fours and start worshiping Saudis??

Let me tell you this: Non-Muslim countries have helped Pakistan a great deal too, what do you say about them?? China, a Communist country has assisted us countless times.

Should we than adopt Communism and try to indoctrinate our population with Marxist/Maoist ideals?

Iran was the first Muslim country to recognize Pakistan as a independent country. NO Arab country, including Saudi Arabia, recognized Pakistan's existence until much later on.

What do you say we sell our country out to some Iranian Ayatollah?

your economy is mostly running because off Saudi money

And to say that Pakistan's economy is "mostly running because of Saudis", that is something to be ashamed of.

Why should our economy be run by others?

Are we inept? If Saudis run our economy then they call the shots in our internal matters as well as foreign policy. To sell your country short to some foreign entity is treason. And the punishment for treason is execution.

you got oil for free and its not about being slave its about ummah and our interests

The oil was in exchange for enduring Western imposed sanctions after Pakistan tested its n * u * k * e * s, which our scientists, engineers, and specialists risked their lives and the lives of their loved ones to create.

Money is money, and oil is just that, oil. Its the mind of an individual that pioneers and innovates to achieve great feats.

Every marvel and invention is the result of an individual's mind. The individual is the greatest asset of a nation. The greatest resource is a intelligent and innovative human being. You can't pump scientists, physicists, engineers, and doctors out of the ground the way you can oil.

And that is what WE possessed and still possess, and THAT is our greatest resource, our pool of scientists, engineers, and physicists.

Secondly, you actually think Saudi Arabia assists Pakistan due to "Ummah" obligations and not out of their own interests? Oh, right, we can see what they did to Saddam, who BTW was not a Kafir Iranian Shia Persian Ayatollah.

Keep these facts in mind, Arabs have a internal rivalry both within their own countries as well as with other Arab states. They despise one another and happily assist in each others overthrow.

Secondly, they lack competent military's. Their armed forces are heavily influenced by nepotism. A officer or general is given hes position NOT based on his competence but on his tribal affiliation with the ruling tribe or loyalty to the regime. Loyalty comes first, then competence.

Pakistan, being the only non-Arab Muslim country, dominated by a majority Sunni population, possesses as very capable and highly trained, well renowned armed forces and a large pool of one of the finest scientists, engineers, and physicists in the region, perhaps even the world, thus making it a perfect candidate for a back up in case anyone tries to overthrow the Saudi regime.
In times of conflict, Pakistan can call upon more than 50-60 million armed men. That's more than entire Saudi population.

They need us not because of "Ummah", but because their survival depends on it. They have no other ally in the region. Almost everyone despises them in their neighborhood. They fear their own Arab neighbors as well as their own people.

Which is why they put a lot of emphasis on this illusion on "Ummah" and "Muslim brotherhood", because religion is the only connection they have with Pakistanis. And that is why they promote their Salafism in Pakistan and even Afghanistan, to keep the common Pakistani blind under the banner of Muslim "Ummah".

But due to advancement in information technology, more and more Pakistanis are realizing the truth, as can bee seen on this very forum.
