World 10 oldest language - Tamil is No 1, Sanskrit , Hindi ??

.
The blog is the research of Dr Loganthan , who has been deciphering Sumerian cuneiform writing for more than 20 yrs, perhaps this clip might help

he "believes" in something - and all that clip does is show more of his "believes".

You cannot call it tamil unless it is tamil. The way you say sumerian language may be a base for tamilian language - sure - Egyptian hieroglyphs are base for many languages. but they cannot claim to be as old as Egyptian text!

These damn mallus always claim they are on top of the world

I doubt very much. By the way the science I practice is Hermeneutic Science such as that of Tolkaappiyar where what are sought are TRUTHS and within a mental frame of being truly OBJECTIVE and where we allow only the TEXTS analyzed speak from within themselves. What I say are already there in the Sumerian, Rigkrit and C.Tamil texts. I contemplate deep on them and when I get some insights then I write about them and post them in such forums for others to deconstruct my views, if possible.

Dear Dr Loganathan,

thats your Dr. Loganatham. And the above is the most unscientific way of research ever!

There is a ton of research going on in anthropology (I am interested in that aspect with the eastern hemisphere - as there is very less work done compared to other older civilizations) and I have never come across this Mr.Loganatham so I tried to find his research. None of his research has been cited anywhere else or published in any respectable journals.

please look at the above bold part - does that look like a scientific approach to evaluating the truth? it sounds more like a man bent on proving his bias right based on "his insights" not on evidence.

Tamil if some way got perished , it will be the last language to go in India, if you want to worry, worry about North Indian languages , they are at higher risk than tamil.

one has to marvel your optimism, India was a British creation and no country or language will remain static as they will evolve and just like Pakistan disappeared from India map, the North/ Eastern states like Kashmir, Khalistan, Manipur etc can disappear before TN

Sumerian is older than Egyptian and Tamil is Sumerian i.e archaic Tamil of 1st Cangkam era , as such it can lay its claim to be the oldest language , except for Coptic , which other language has Egyptian as its base ?

the ' TEXTS analyzed speak from within themselves' was reference to divine/devotional works in Sanskrit (Vedic) and Tamil ( Divya Pranbandham and Thevaram) , on their "apurushya" nature , which translates - 'not ascribed to human author'. Such religious works which claim divine origin cannot be subjected to scientific approach.

The Periyar freaks ,usually Tamil Christian or Crypto-Christians (One's who calls themselves rationalists/atheists), are most shameless and scummy people whom you would ever encounter. They are career liars and do not blink even before making horrendously unscientific claims like Korean and Finnish are derived from Tamil.

Tamil is Sumerian i.e archaic Tamil

This is an example of looniness that I was talking about.

Comparing Tamil with sanskrit is bull sh!t... Tamil has thirukural which was return in the 1st century BC.. It has 1330 kurals, every kural is written only with seven words with amazing lessons for life with valuable meaning and was already translated in to 37 languages including the chinese. What Sanskrit given to the world? Pakistanis here already told numerous times what Sanskrit vedas had given...

Oldest evidence of any kind of Tamil is from 300BCE and even oldest poem in Tamil has Sanskrit words.I do not know how deep is this inferiority complex in you periyar freaks that you need to fake thousand of years of history.

And regarding their contribution to the world: Life lessons in Kurals!!Only that!! LOL!! Life lessons are present even in Sawheli pidgin. Tamil had been used exactly zero times in Science and Mathematics compared to expansive mathematical and scientific literature of India being written in Sanskrit. Tamil has no single literary work (poem, drama, anything) which is free from influence of Sanskrit ,neither it compare favorable to Sanskrit in either quality or quantity of literature.Sanskrit has a recorded history spanning 3500 years and two continents. Apart from that, Grammar of Tamil is based on Sanskrit grammar, which should not be surprising as it was a Aryan Brahmin rishi, and his follower who codified Tamil grammar,Tolkapiyyam.

Even Rajaraja chola (who you people try to project as Tamil ruler with no link with Hinduism) considered Tamil as a lowly peasant language and promoted use of Sanskrit as court language. Even his title Rajaraja is a Sanskrit word.

I dont know how deep is the superiority complex of Hindu brahmin retards. Which oldest tamil literature had sanskrit words? Where you got the nonsense chola used sanskrit as court language? Is it according to one of the brahmin retarded dreams?

Who cares to read your sanskrit vedic nonsense except the deluded brahmins... ok what is sanskrit's contribution to the world?? flying monkeys and elephant gods??:lol:

Show me a single word from the 1330 thirukural which has a sanskrit word, which is more than 2000 years old... Stop being deluded RSS idiots..

CHENNAI:Just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was recalling the age-old cultural and business relations between South Korea and India in Seoul on Monday, Kyungsoo Kim, Consul General of South Korea in Chennai, revealed that his country indeed had a link with Tamil Nadu from the first Century AD., at a function held at Fort St George. Speaking at the inauguration of exhibition titled Museums of India and Korea, Kim said strong evidence to this connection lay in the common words used in Korean and Tamil languages even today. He narrated an interesting incident that took place just a day before, on Sunday, when he was visiting Mahabalipuram. As he was walking along the sea-shore, Kim heard his son calling him. When he turned back, he realised that it was not his son, but another child who was calling him Appaa. He learned, to his surprise, that the two languages shared some common words.

In all, he claimed, there were around 4,000 words in Korean and Tamil that had similar meaning, indicating the age-old connection between the two countries. It was the French missionaries in Korea who first noted the similarities between the two languages. Many of the names of ancient colonies of Southern Korea were the exact counterparts of Tamil words.

yup - and that is the final nail in the coffin for this thread. this is no different from a radicalized religious person who cannot listen to logic or reason (read: scientific thought)

I am not into literature,

Obviously I like my mother tongue language Tamil, I respect other s mother tongue language too

I don't need to be superior or inferior , I don't care what others think.

Tamils are like Hindiwala's. Both are fanatic linguistic chauvinists. Hindi wala believes Hindi is universal language; Tamil want to believe their language and culture is the best. Hindi chauvinists are supported by Hindu fanatics also (RSS).

His studies are based on what he calls ‘Dravidian Evolutional Linguistics’

"Evolutionary linguistics the scientific study of the psychosocial development and cultural evolution of individual languages as well as the origins and development of human language itself "

psychosocial involving both psychic and social aspects

His research paper

Sumerian Tamil

Dravidian historical linguistics (Book, 2001) [WorldCat.org]

Tamils are like Hindiwala's. Both are fanatic linguistic chauvinists. Hindi wala believes Hindi is universal language; Tamil want to believe their language and culture is the best. Hindi chauvinists are supported by Hindu fanatics also (RSS).

The solution is separation of Tamil fanatics from Hindiwalas , thus give Tamils their independence from Hindiwala fanatics, as both can never co-exist
