Please do not mislead people on scientific and archaeological evidences that are available.

The scientific thought process forces you to accept the evidences as it is. and the best evidence we have now is of a proto dravidian south indian language somewhere around 2000 BC and the earliest occurrence of tamil is around 300 BC.

If you want to claim that tamil's origin is from proto dravidian (circa 2000 BC) then we can trace english language scriptures back to the Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Actually Yes and no. The earliest recorded evidence of Tamil was 400 BC before Ashoka in some rock cut structures.
Tamil is be the world's oldest language still spoken today. Nothing to dispute that.
