Which means all the Indian languages, irrespective of Tamil origin or Sanskrit origin, came from Tamil. That would mean no need for Tamil nationalism. @manlion , what a self-defeating argument you have put forth?
its funny.!!! if a language have a rich grammar and poetry skills to conduct a event 2000+ years before, then think about how many millennium to develop to that stage from start of it? and tamil is a language who derived from basic sounds of humans.
ex. no kid in this world cry or use their basic or first character of their language. ah, ahm amma. no kid cry mom or dad or pitha, matha its sounds aaa, am, amma.
aa is first letter of tamil. but i never say its the most oldest one, because even in India the research of it nt entertained by GoI. its one of the top 10 largest spoken language in the world even today.
Jallikattu was banned by Tamil Nadu government ..
LOL......
What a crapload of bullmanure!!!

These Periyar freaks never ceases to amaze me. They claim everything from Korean to Finnish as Dravidian language.
Yes! And even Dinasours spake Tamil!!!
I am sorry but the opening post is based off a glorified blog post. The earliest known, dated language scripts are from 3000 BC. and that is the Egyptian hieroglyphs.
Please do not mislead people on scientific and archaeological evidences that are available.
MIs guided nationalism that forces you to think that "my language is the oldest" is a blot on scientific thought process. The scientific thought process forces you to accept the evidences as it is. and the best evidence we have now is of a proto dravidian south indian language somewhere around 2000 BC and the earliest occurrence of tamil is around 300 BC.
If you want to claim that tamil's origin is from proto dravidian (circa 2000 BC) then we can trace english language scriptures back to the Egyptian hieroglyphs.
You may be right but tamil is oldest living language.
If you want to claim that tamil's origin is from proto dravidian (circa 2000 BC) then we can trace english language scriptures back to the Egyptian hieroglyphs.
Unless Tamil is given it's rightful recognition by GOI, which will never happen. The reality - Aryan / Indians will do everything to destroy /suppress Tamil. To safeguard Tamil from this destructive force, TN has to break away from India

go through this articlewhat exactly is an oldest living language? how did you come to this conclusion? languages were developed in multiple areas and I can point out many languages that were developed in and around the same time and still in use today.
give me a valid scientific supporting link for your statement.
world's oldest civilization is Mesopotamia - so naturally Sumeria has to be the oldest language, which is archaic Tamil
