I have no idea of the ISI end of things but in former Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky's 1990 memoir, By Way of Deception: The Making and Unmaking of a Mossad Officer, he writes how active or retired (I forget which) Mossad officers - who you'd think would be working for open recognition of the Jewish State - appeared to be more concerned with cutting private trade deals using their Mossad and secret foreign contacts for personal profit....ISI asking Mossad & then rejected in reply... well, I cannot be more serious and to be honest with you, been laughing over this. I am sure you wouldn't mind and make digestible.
