Shows shoddy research by a person who has probably never visited India, and obviously done no actual fieldwork to corroborate his claims. Authoritative sounding conclusion but actually a flight of fancy from patchwork research done on the internet.

lol, the so called expert completely missed the part of Pakistan's association with Al Qaeda, its propensity of fomenting terrorists, supporting India specific jihadi and terrorist groups including Pakistan being the central core of Al Qaeda, where all the top leaders of AQ live and operate from with covert intelligence support.

Well that goes on to show to prove many things...
1)Zawahiri is getting too old and AQ needs a new leadership
2) AQ is feeling threatened by the emergence of IS and the possible copycat emergence of other groups which may challenge AQ.
3) And that the actual ground work hasnt begun,its just at a planning stage.

The statement was made in a haste to prove to the world that Al-qaeda still exists.

Sometimes when I read these - I wonder...what made the rich have-all kids the world over join ISIS.

I mean Boko Haram, I can understand - a bunch of savages and nothing else. But when people who never had a hard time in life, living the dream to be honest, leave everything, emigrate to the Islamic State and join 'jihad', it is time we rethink our logic.

It is interesting that the reason - why they did it is NOT offered by them. They are very clear - they do it to 'eliminate infidels'. It is only the armchair analysts who sit in the comfort of their homes and manufacture the so called causes.

When Bitta Karate killed the Pandits, he was interviewed he was asked, Why did you kill them? He said they were Mukhbir(spies/collaborators). And when asked why only them, why not other Govt officials as well? He said, they were kafirs. That is the only real reason. We can create a thousand stories as to why he did it, how he was traumatised etc etc, but in the end the real reason is hard for us to fathom, because it is devoid of all logic - the extermination of a people, because they exist.

Why were the Yazidis killed? Why did the ISIS pick on them? Because Yazidi extremists were ill treating the Sunnis?

Why were the Christians in Mosul driven out/butchered? Because Christians in Iraq were butchering Sunnis?

No. It was simply because they existed. We try not to accept it as it would prove humanity is capable of the most heinous crimes - it would prove that WE can be monsters.
