The casualty figure in the air strike on the Balakot camp will be given out by the government, Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa said on Monday while asserting that the Indian Air Force does not count the number of dead. Air Chief Marshal cleared all the air on the IAF air strikes. He said "The target has been clearly amplified by Foreign Secretary in his statement. If we plan to hit the target, we hit the target, otherwise why would he (Pak PM) have responded, if we dropped bombs in the jungles why would he respond."

We responded to violation of airspace ....we had to put it out there so that we could exercise our right to self defence.....

Common sense not very common in india I guess

Common sense tells me you shoot down enemy jets when they trespass. You dont wait for the enemy to get in drop bombs and leave. That is not common sense

. . .
Like india did after 12 days of pulwama attack

We had to plan. Your forces should have been on alert. PAF let IAF enter Pakistani territory, drop bombs and then lave safely. It doesnt make sense

. .
So let me get this straight:

The Indians apparently find a piece of AMRAAM deep inside India territory amongst debris spread over 100 metres - and instead of concluding that the debris belongs to one of their aircraft shot by an AMRAAM, they conclude it means an F16 was shot down in Pak o_O

Then, instead of reviewing satellite imagery or the data available from their own strike aircraft, they rely on the fact that PAF STRUCK BACK, to conclude they probably hit something o_O

Man these Indians seriously make my head hurt, how the hell is the same world supposed to argue with these insane idiots? :fie:

To top it off, they welcome a pilot shot down by PAF as a national hero and see no wrong in that :man_in_love:

We arent a bloody thirsty nation...We proved that by not lynching your pilot :coffee:

Well, had india attacked SOMETHING apart from 15 trees and Shahzaz Ud Din our crow, we would have retaliated right there and then. But since we saw indians themselves quickly turned back we let them...Coz after all we are a peace loving nation :coffee:

No, peacetime Rules Of Engagement call for the intruding aircraft to be warned and forced to return. Airspace violations occur all the time between India and Pakistan, and that is what the process is to avoid escalation - warning intruding jets instead of shooting them down.

The PAF did not know that the IAF had dropped bombs until reports started coming in after the IAF had left Pakistani airspace, and that is when the Pakistani response was put in place.

The answer was given in DGISPR presser. You attacked out country on some stupid excuse. The bombs fell near civilian population. They could have been killed. Than you said O we bombed deep into Pakistan killing 350. If Osama bin Laden can be killed why can't we. Janab why don't you not use the red dot of your. This idiot is doing whataboutery on nation television.
