Why we Indians need Joe here

You mean I'm reasonable and not a fascist, soft or hard?
You are a gentle fascist. Like Mr. Modi. Soft heart, strong exterior. :P

Look. I respect Joe. I have not and will not bad mouth him. But since this thread is for assigning attributes to a member, I have gone a little lax and given my opinions. I remember a Principal of my school I despised a lot. But I respected her as well. She was way older. Same with Joe.

Maine kuch nai kiya
Yeah..yeah I'm sure. You do know who will be spanked if Joe sir doesnt return to this forum. :frown:

the pseudo secular, conveniently liberal intelligentsia that you represent.
Problem with you and people like you is that you guys are not used to criticism or even opposing ideas (ironic),
You, @SarthakGanguly and @Star Wars you cartoons turn very aggressive at times...just as aggressive as Mr.Joe himself.
You guys must understand that people of his age wont change their views easily, they 're brought up on leftist ideology.

Btw did he say he's quitting?

Levina has a Bangladesh connection, I ll let her explain it to you.
Do you hallucinate?
No, I'm serious.
:p::bunny:

I have a style I know. :ashamed:
But I deny being aggressive for the sake of it. I don't intend anyone to convert to my PoV. But I have my views and I won't move from it without reason just because another joe comes and tells me I am wrong. He/she needs to demonstrate it. Otherwise his/her views are as valid/invalid as any other's. Including mine. :P

She is the barometer of our tolerance. The day she is harmed directly will I know that India is becoming more intolerant. Till then, all is serene.

No she is MISUSING the Liberties enshrined in the constitution

Anyway she has been a guest in Tihar
under the BENEVOLENT UPA regime ; her utterances had become absolutely abhorrent

Now She is just hiding like a mouse

But she is LESS harmful than Owaissi and Azam Khan

No, he isn't quitting . why would he, there is an entire thread dedicated to him -_- .
This thread is beyond lame. No offense to vsdoc. :omghaha:
But then he has the hots for Arundhati Roy. :hitwall:

Chitrangada is my favorite - by a huge margin. Looks. Figure. Face. Lips. Voice. You name it.

Your problem, and that of most youngsters, is that you only want nice shiny new things.

Whereas I see the beauty of an old faithful well worn shoe. Its suppleness. And softness.

.
Nice. I like bongs.

I thought Arundhati Roy was mallu stock? Though yes, the jaw is bong.

I am of course new member here, so did not know how old/young Joe is (you are only as old as you feel inside is the saying).

But it did strike me that he is a senior guy the way he reminisces.

That's why I approached him in the same way I would my grandpa (if he were still alive)....and he's certainly not that rigid or brittle....the way I see it he's fed up with everyone equally for whatever reason. All the young lads and lasses will probably have to go through more of life to "get" why people can be set in their beliefs and attitudes. I mean don't young kids seem crazy and unpredictable to us...since their minds are still forming? Its exactly like that from a more senior perspective towards the younger but adult generation....we are more inclined and open to believe things will be different and can change....since a large part of our lives is still to come....but we should not admonish an elder beyond a point for failing to see what we see and feel what we feel.

I never got the chance to talk politics with my Tha-Tha (he passed when I was barely out of teenage years) but from my Amma I have long since ascertained that we would definitely have not seen eye to eye on pretty much everything (he was a die hard staunch Congress/Gandhi/Nehru supporter)....and I have long since heard of the massive political debates/arguments he had with my Pathi (from my dad's side) who was totally anti-Congress to the point of supporting anyone that could pose a challenge to its rule (ppl like VP Singh for example). Tha-Tha from dad's side and Pathi from mom's side were pretty much apolitical so that would add some "balance" for the most part I guess....so fights had to be somewhat organised via family togethers rather than spontaneously happening between a married couple. Anyways I digress here.

Sometimes people can be plain wrong (from your point of view)....but they are still family (however broad your context - to me all civilized, peaceful Indians are my extended brethren)...I guess that's what I am trying to say. It is easy to call someone names over the internet since face to face contact is removed....but try putting on this attitude in real life, you wont get far! Let us remember that too when we come across people we don't see eye to eye with on the internet...no matter what their age may be.
