Match wits with him - he is quite gracious in both victory and defeat. Just that I feel he lacks patience - but that is again to expected
No. That's vsdoc. Joe loses cool at the drop of his hat. His ego and vanity is the size of an elephant and as brittle as glass. He expects total allegiance. Like a softer version of a fascist like me. Only on the other side of the line. :D

Half Mallu Half Bong
Deadly combination.

You kill me deeply.

You mean I'm reasonable and not a fascist, soft or hard?

I don't think Joe is extreme left in all matters, not on economics..I dont think. Joe is extreme left in certain sensitive matters and that is only because the entire planet including the Muslim world jumped to the right after 9/11. If it weren't for the Americans who have a habit of calling a spade a spade, I think in India we would still be crying over young men who blow things up to terrorize and the silent enablers around them as being the victims of mean Hindus and not responsible for their own actions. In fact some of us still do that unfortunately.
His economic stance is free market.

His views on Hinduism is deeply anti Hindu. Slightly anti Muslim and somewhat pro Christian. He claims to be an atheist.

Source: There are many things we agree on. Most of my positive ratings are from him. He did a prayaschit by rating one negative though.

@vsdoc

Arundhati Roy was born in Shillong, Meghalaya, India,[4] to Rajib Roy, a BengaliHindu tea plantation manager fromCalcutta and Mary Roy, a MalayaliSyrian Christian women's rights activist from Kerala.[5] When she was two, her parents divorced and she returned with her mother and brother to Kerala.[5] For a time, the family lived with Roy's maternal grandfather in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. When she was 5, the family moved back to Kerala, where her mother started a school.[5]

I need to do my homework well before whisking the old lungi out.
