Why we have lost the race to China

Bloody hell, the response by some of the Indians to benign criticism from another Indian is very amusing.

The author has written a good article and has praised a country for its achievements and has shone a torch on Indian failings. Causing some severe *** burning.

I am always amazed by the response from some Indians as though they live in a different imaginary India. Come of it guys, who are you trying to kid? Not us, all of us know that India is a hell hole for most of its inhabitants. No wonder there are so many insurgencies, so many suicides (every 30 mins a farmer kills himself), 20 million missing girls!! 700 million below the poverty line, stagnant and polluted rivers and water systems, but off course (slap my head) the indians did invent space travel and were the first people in space (take that Yuri Gargarin), gene therapy - the DNA model was invented by an Indian sage in his cave looking at batmanshit when the idea came to him that the genetic material is contained in all living things in a double helix, so much for Crick and Watson analysing their crystalline -Xrays!! The coup de grace of course is gravity manipulation, Newton's apple is now travelling back up from his head back to the tree where it has reattached itself to the tree's stem probably by some Indian cell regeneration technique.

OK, now that dream is over can the Indians come back to reality and do try not to overlook the slums and garbage heaps all over your damned country.

Really if you look at the naked truth, the US has only two things working in it's favor (still), 1. military might, 2. financial might (not economic, but financial). Those two things are far easier to surpass than economic might (industry/services etc). .

Not true. Technology development is still pretty much in the US. Most research gets done in the US. Value addition in research is 100x fold the value addition in manufacturing. Manufacturing/services may shift to Asia but US is ahead by at least 50 years compared to the rest of the countries.

The reality is that U.S. and China is on the top. India is no where close.

Don't count the chickens before they are hatch. Given the the countries most closest associate to Indian culture stuck in middle income hell such as Malaysia and Indonesia, I do not expect India to do too much.

Malaysia is on track to become developed by 2020.

Idiot thread the OP should be banned from making threads & the author of this BS should be banned from writing

"The Han, 90% of China’s population, are a beautiful people, small but not malnourished, radiant of skin and with no body hair. Like in European nations, the dominant physical shape is slender and thin".

I agree with this part.

Chinese dont have much body hair and do tend to be on the slender side.

When I see how hairy some Aussie guys are I cringe and couldnt believe that its their norm.

Also, Chinese (and East asians in general) dont have apocrine glands, thus very little body odor compared to others. Once when I was lining up in an airconditioned electronics store, the guy in front of me smelled so bad and he was totally oblivious to his body odor. It was so bad!

You guys are not aware Malaysia household income has stagnated for very long time. The government are now focusing on increasing it without any viable plan. Having high income without increasing productivity will only result in growing deficit and inflation. Education is ranked bottom in PISA. The question on developed nation by 2020, no. Maybe the government will throw a celebration, make believe.

Najib also said that in order for Malaysia to achieve a developed nation status by 2020, the country has to grow at an annual rate of 8% over the next 10 years. He cited that a lower hypothetical growth of 6% per annum would delay Malaysia's vision to become a developed country by 10 years to 2030. Malaysia’s GDP growth rate averaged 7.2% per annum in the 1990s, and slowed to 5.4% per annum in the following decade.

Well I agree with you on the odour thing

India has all the potential to be rising to the top (top doesn't necessarily mean instead of China, it doesn't have to be lonely at the top). India can manage things well, they have very bright minds. Democratic progress just takes longer. And who said the US is at the top?? Really if you look at the naked truth, the US has only two things working in it's favor (still), 1. military might, 2. financial might (not economic, but financial). Those two things are far easier to surpass than economic might (industry/services etc). So it's merely a matter of time. You'll see a time in which Asia accounts for 80% of world GDP. It's not too far off. Then wtf kind of power would a far away, large island like the US be? Nothing, back to it's introvert past.

Don't mind Luca she is a false flagger Indophobe

You are very true!

India is a tortoise, slow and steady wins the race.

India has the demographic dividend.

India has the democratic dividend.

India grows at night.

India has the English advantage.

India has Bollywood and Yoga.

India has inclusive growth.

India has soft power.

40% of all doctors in America are Indians.

42% of all NASA engineers are Indians.

38% of all Microsoft engineers are Indians.

36% of all Google engineers are Indians.

33% of all Apple engineers are Indians.

India is already an intellectual and knowledge superpower.

Ancient India invented zero, yoga, plastic surgery, gene therapy, space travel, teleportation, gravity manipulation, computer chips, and much more.

India has the brains and the money to achieve anything. Only leadership was lacking before due to Kangress traitors. Modi-ji is a strong visionary. Under Modi-ji's brilliant leadership, India will quickly surpass China and America to become a superpower by 2020!

You forgot the Toilet Part.

now indians find a new way to insult china by keep aligning itself with china, from their mighty modiji to slum residents, which make me fury!!!

You forgot the Toilet Part.
be careful, by just typing toill*t may get you banned on this forum. to protect indian' vulnerable ego, we need to find another creative way to describle such human basic facility.

That's nonsense (the 50 years part). Look at how Xiaomi and Huawei out of nowhere became the 3rd en 4th larges phone makers in the world. 50 years huh? Besides, things like Google and Facebook can be shut down by the push of a button Shipbuilding and automobile manufacturing can't. I'm not saying IT, tech and software is unimportant, but let's not exaggerate it either.
