The TTP wants army to attack them, so there's collateral damage. Collateral damage will cushion the anti-ttp people who had started changing their opinions about taliban.

Remember, if a nation is going through literally a civil wad and opposing country attacks, everyone unites. It's just an example, but when India gets attacked by Pakistan, Hindu and Muslims unite. Similarly, if Pakistan gets attacked by India, baloch, sindhi and so forth will unite and fight India, putting their differences aside.

Many people really want army to launch a campainge now, exactly what TTP wants as the peace talks have created division. There is infighting and seperation.

The public and politicians of Pakistan will be arguing with each other for months to come over who was at fault, who to blame, etc. Foreign investors may temporarily suspend projects due to a "complex and fluid security situation" on the ground.

Hopefully the real people to blame for this tragedy are located and eliminated, and that the world's intelligence agencies share with Pakistan any information that may be useful in accomplishing that task, should Pakistan not already have that info.

Oh please my friend dont compare maoists with these dangerous TTP.At least maoists have some noble reason.Secondly they cant reach even an 100km near of one of our tier 2 airport.Forget about top airports or national assets.
Look at these Karachi attacked ,they used satcoms and advanced tactics.Pakistan most elite unit need hours of effort to gun them down.
