A typical case of "I'm scared of commitments" :coffee:
now I'm almost getting an idea as to why you wanted to go to "vilayat" and study.

No more like 'I don't want to end up in a custody battle 5 years down the lane' like my elder cousin right now ! Imagine what his kid is going through seeing his Mom and Dad fight over who gets the child and how much of the money.

I've seen that happen to 7 people in my friends, family and acquaintances; and all of those marriages looked 'perfect' initially !

They just don't make couples the way they used to and I'm old-fashioned in that sense that I don't do flings or any of that crap....having a relationship isn't like having a Playstation that you like and play with...its commitment, companionship, compromise, trust and the hope that you'd grow old together.

That doesn't happen in this age anymore or very rarely it does.

And I'm thinking of going to vilayat 'cause the Capital Markets in Pakistan aren't that developed which means that the high-end Finance stuff that I want doesn't happen here that much !

Like dinosaur age??
"Long ago" would not even mean a decade in your case, because a decade ago you were not even a teenager.

I don't want to interrogate you....but do share the story if u r comfortable....kabhi!! :)

Yes it was nearly a decade ago and there wasn't much there to string together a story about !

Frankly speaking this year during my vacations in India I found atleast 3 of my freinds opting for divorce. And like you said theirs looked like a perfect marriage till now.

I can't believe it ....you had just one crush in last so many years???
Chalo Choro!!
I think it's better not to talk about relationships on an Internet forum.
I'm not gonna torture you anymore :) .....but I'll definitely spread the news.

I say, why get marred at all. Social contracts and customs associated with this put unnecessary stress on men's lives.

Better to live a successful, productive career with little to no limitations.

absolutely...

I guess thats just the right time to pop such questions.

seems like the best time for the spider to trap the fellow...

I'm equally possessive....all women 're. :D

what if a man wants three ladies, one more than the other two, but three still??

Still looking for the future Mrs. @Nihonjin1051 .

no, my friend... don't let the fort fall... be ever the independent tom cat... very caring and kind and loyal but still independent...

the system of "family" is obsolete... a truly scientific society will not have "family"... a person should care for everyone not just for their "children" or "spouse" or "siblings" or "parents".

he he he, you remind me of my one college bunk-mate, Saburo. He always never liked the idea of getting into relationships, or whenever i brought female friends he would show his disapproval after they left. LOL!
