U know there was a case in my university.
A G*y student was using chloroform on his room mate every night and we came to know when that engineering graduate came to our medical college opd with bleeding.

so is it compulsory in any society ?

i havent seen such a compulsion. Anyway here in our desi society more than adopting family name its usually adding husband's first name to her own in some documents like National Identity card etc etc.

BTW this give her some legal edge in getting few things

it is compulsion in desi society... the "baap ka naam" ( father's name ) is prevalent not only on government documents, but also in school documents and in films.

BTW this give her some legal edge in getting few things

not even a man should be compelled to be identified by his parents' name... nature gives every person their own identity... much of south asian culture is the most anti-nature of all cultures.

He knew nothing.When there was pain and bleeding he came to hospital and examination revealed sexual penetration.
